I wish Rickon had gotten some scenes in episodes 4-8. I know no one likes Ramsay's torture scenes, and Rickon probably doesn't have a dick anymore, but it would be nice to have something to make the viewers care about Rickon.

Holy sh*t.... this might have been the best of episode of Game of Thrones yet. I seriously don't know what to say, it was almost perfect...

Even Dany's story wasn't bad this week. The CGI on the Dragons looked the best it ever has. And that one take-shot of Jon at the beginning of the battle... wow.

My heart was pounding and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time during that battle (mostly because I was really hoping no important good guys would die) Really amazing episode, it will really stand out in my mind as one of the best I'm sure.

That episode amazing. The dragons, Winterfell, everything! My only problem is it played out pretty much how everyone thought.

rip Ramsay, best character of season 6. Was more sad when he died then Hordor tbh...
Good episode, tbh we never get to see battles in GoT, the last one was the Blackwater I guess, there was the Wilding battles but a lot of that was mainly just Skirmishes and not an actual full scale battle.
Rickon died as expected, but after not being seen for 2 seasons it just doesn't have an impact. Littlefinger showed up, I wonder what he's planning tbh I kinda thought he would double cross them and take Winterfell for himself before this episode began. Not sure what he currently stands to gain for himself given he's a very selfish character.
Well next week I guess we got The Hound, Bran and Kings Landing. The Winterfell and Dany stuff is pretty much wrapped for this season.
This episode was great but not sure it makes what has been a pretty bad season a great one...

Also does anyone feel the Jaime and Blackfish stuff was just pointless... Doesn't see, to have any impact and was anti climatic...

Also one of Davos or Mel dies next episode... Seems like Mel is the obvious choice but I'm going to go with the reversal and say Davos dies

Seems like Mel is the obvious choice but I'm going to go with the reversal and say Davos dies Well, when I saw that quick scene of them after the battle I thought Davos would killed Melisandra right there and then get executed as his punishment. Could still happen though. But I hope he lives. Still, Melisandra told Arya they would meet again...

I'm glad they kept the tradition of killing Starks in the 9th episode.

Dammit! Not again Walder!
Well, looks like that could be a very good episode. So many Lannistars and Freys... would be a shame if a certain someone came in there. Also, I have been reading the books and in the first chapter of the second book its mentioned that a white Raven means winter has come... so... foreshadowing there...
Oh and the High Sparrow actor mentioned something insane would happen at the trail... and with Tyrion just randomly bringing up the Wildfyre I think that is foreshadowing too and Cersei is going to blow everything up...

So... Rickon had no lines. I heard that that might have been done so that the actor was only paid as an extra this season. Apparently that also happened to Ollie (I was surprised when I realized he also had no lines this season).

It's really odd to watch any Rickon scenes (well, I guess there's only two this season anyway...) since he doesn't say anything. But despite that, it was Jon's reaction that helped sell that death scene to me. I didn't really care about Rickon, but Jon not getting to his little brother in time was able to make it a good emotional scene.

I really wish Rickon got more screen time this season, or maybe if he'd reacted to Osha dying.

Or if they were too lazy to write lines for Rickon, they could have had Ramsay tear out his tongue or something.

Am I the only one that was kinda disappointed that Rickon didn't even try to dodge and weave or run in zig zags or something? Like come on.

I saw someone say Sansa was counting on Rickon's death because that's the only way she has a claim to Winterfell.

I saw someone say Sansa was counting on Rickon's death because that's the only way she has a claim to Winterfell. I don't believe that. But I think she knew there was no way Ramsay would let Rickon live, even if they surrendered. Rickon was dead the moment he was given to Ramsay.
