What do you guys think of this season so far? It's okay, I especially like what's going on in the North (while before I didn't care too much for that) but I feel like the show is becoming too predictable... like most of the major points so far this season were not that surprising.

It's good to see that Margaery is definitely putting on an act. And seeing the Hound again was cool (was this the first time there was a scene before the intro?), but I don't know where they're taking his story. I'm just not sure if he can get to King's Landing and fight the Mountain in the next three episodes.

Captain Blackbeard died in his first episode It was alright, personally I enjoyed this one quite a bit. Always like the Hound and it didn't have much of Cersei so that's cool. I feel like this season is progressing very slowly though, and it's said that season 7 could be the last one, if that's true then this will be a very poor and rushed ending I'd think for the show. Season 6 has 3 episodes left and there's still so much left I think. I guess Sansa will get help from Littlefinger, Jaime will take the castle most likely since it seems they have no interest in helping them. However Jaime has 8000 men, Boltons have 5000 with the aid of Littlefinger Jon will likely have somewhere around that as well.

Wonder how this will play out.... Will Littlefinger betray the Starks?? He was promised Warden of the North from Cersei I believe in season 5 even if they're allied with the Boltons.
However if the Starks take winterfell that could be Jaimes next target.

Season finale is 70 minutes. I first read that as Season 7 and started panicking. I think that's one of the longest episodes yet, so hopefully we'll get a lot of payoff. I think the battle between Jon and Ramsay is the episode before though.

I think the battle between Jon and Ramsay is the episode before though. I predict it will finally show the complete Tower of Joy flashback, Daenerys heads west and the White Walkers will breach the wall (possibly taking it down). And maybe, but that is more vague and not even confirmed to happen, we will see Cersei going mad and burning down King's Landing (there has been some foreshadowing for that). Also, the description for the episode says that Brienne will meet an "old friend turned foe" since she will meet Jaime next episode it is not him... I can only think of one book character that would fit the description (which I have heard a lot about, despite not having read the books) and if she appears I think that would be pretty epic... So it has potential to be the best episode yet...

I (like a lot of other people) was expecting her in the Season 4 finale, but then she didn't show up and the showrunners said we'd never see her. They could obviously be lying, so I definitely think it's still on the table. Although, if Arya's going to be the one to kill Walder Frey then I don't think Lady Stoneheart would have much purpose.

If season 7 is actually the last one, they are dragging their feet way too much. I haven't like this season much for that exact reason.

Episode 8 - No One: Tyrion finds cause for concern. Cersei prepares for the worst. Sansa takes control. Arya is not alone. Episode 9 - Battle of the Bastards: Ramsay surprises his audience. Jon retaliates. Dany is true to her word. Episode 10 - The Winds Of Winter: A queen comes forth. Euron reveals himself. Brienne meets a friend turned foe. King’s Landing awaits justice. The Night’s Watch gathers.
Some short things for the last 3 episodes. Episode 9 the surprise is likely Rickon dying, that one seen with the burning bodies...

Not the best episode. A lot of it was just filler, and the only notable things were from Arya's storyline (which is one of the weakest of the series right now). At least we got some payoff from Arya's blindness. Until now it had seemed really pointless, but her using it to kill the Waif made sense. The Blackfish dying offscreen was stupid... I mean, come on, we get introduced to this badass character, and the last we hear from him is a guard just saying "he died"? They should have shown him go down fighting.

That shot in the trailer for next episode with Jon looking sadly at the ground and then looking up angrily is probably right after Rickon dies. If Rickon does die in the next episode (which I'm pretty sure he will), it will be sort of lame because he only had one scene this entire season and zero dialogue. Still, next episode looks great. These last three episodes have been lots of exposition, but it looks like the last two will at least be really good.
