On another note, I loved it when Tyrion freed Viserion and Rhaegal. Inb4 Tyrion: Dragon rider He doesn't really look like a dragon rider...

I think it would have been cool if they thought the resurrection hadn't worked. And then they burned his body but at the end he was unscathed and alive.

Does anyone else think this season is just insanely predictable.... It's not very game of thrones like honestly... Arya gets her eyes back... Not really surprising. Jon Snow is revived and leaves the nights watch... Totally predictable, we all seen that coming. Everything that happened at the end of season 5 just didn't end up mattering it seems, what happened to Arya and Jon ultimately had minimal effect. Dorn plotline is still as stupid as ever and the High Sparrow stuff just seems like a distraction. Also Danys storyline along with Aryas seems very pointless as well... This season is better then 5 so far but it's still fairly weak. ---- Now what did I like... Well I'm liking Brans storyline for once, I like seeing all these past visions the scenes with Ned where the best in this episode by far. Ultimately I like anything with Tyrion as always him and Varys are the most enjoyable duo on the show, however that plotline seems to be moving very slowly as well. I like any scenes with Ramsay, so yeah it's pretty much confirmed that scene with the two burning bodies will be Rickon Stark. Hmm I wonder if Sansa gets to the wall and Jon won't be there now, that would just be incredibly stupid as well I think. Also where the fuck is Bronn... Come one I love that guy he should have been in the first episode at least....

Pretty good episode, but if they're gonna keep doing these exposition episodes there's gonna need to be at least 3 or 4 more seasons.

I'm pretty sure I know what the problem is for me and I seen these comments posted elsewhere as well but there's just way too many characters and plot lines for the show to handle well enough now. Season 5 was so uneventful that it has created sort of a overload of these random little plot lines and now they're brining back old plot lines absent in season 5.... Just too much in such a small window.
Season 6 plot lines:
- The Nights Watch (we're likely going to have another subplot from this now if Jon Snow leaves...) - The High Sparrow - The Red Keep (Small council, Lannisters) - Dorn - Winterfell (Boltons) - Sansa/ Brienne randomness - Arya/ Faceless men - Jorah searching for Dany - Dany on her own - Tyrion/ Varys holding down the fort in the absence of Dany - The Ironborne storyline - Brans storyline - Samuel Tarlys storyline
Overall just way too much....

Yes I agree, tooooo many story lines. Although some story lines could get tied together pretty fast if the writers felt like it. (Dany + Jorah + Tyrion for example)
But overall this whole thing has got pretty sloppy.

Well, they're obviously taking care of their multiple plot lines and character arcs by going on a murdering spree. They've killed off so many important characters so far... I think this season's been really good so far. We generally see the "good guys" losing and dying all the time and the "bad guys" winning. But now it's sort of changed, and it's refreshing.

I'm surprised Jon killed Olly... he is just a child... seems a bit extreme to blame him and sentence him to die...
Anyway, I agree that the story has been kind of predictable... too predictable for GOT, maybe there will be a major twist to make up for that soon.

Oh yeah seriously where is Bronn? I guess he'll show up when Jaime goes to the Riverlands.
I was kinda shocked Jon killed Olly but I guess he couldn't really let him live. Nothing that cool is happening in Kings Landing, or really anywhere in Essos. Everything in the North has been awesome this season though.

Eh, I think Olly deserved it. He helped murder the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. If people at Castle Black can be executed for having romantic relationships, then they should definitely be executed for treason. Plus, it doesn't matter if Olly's a kid or not. He's still a member of the Night's Watch just like everyone else.

Seeing Thorne hanged was pretty satisfying too. He was a major dick since Season 1. Although, I do have to say that I really respect how he was able to accept his death and defeat in the end.

Judging from the episode titles, I think R+L=J will be revealed in Episode 5.

He was still a child who saw his entire family murdered by some of the same people Jon allowed to come south of the wall... his anger is understandable and I highly doubt it was his idea to murder Jon... I think showing mercy for a confused child would be the best idea.

I don't understand why you guys are all broken up about Olly. There's an entire sub reddit dedicated to hating Olly. Or at least there was until he died. Now it just redirects to a picture of him looking salty.

It's pretty cool that Bran can possibly influence the past. Have you heard of the Mad King Theory with Bran?

It's pretty cool that Bran can possibly influence the past. Have you heard of the Mad King Theory with Bran? Yeah I heard it. But I am not sure how I feel about this kind of timetravel... it usually creates plotholes and makes other decisions in the series weird and meaningless. Timetravel can be good in some stories, but I'm not sure if it would work in GOT... but we would have to see IF that theory is true... it could be done right I think and it is a definitely an interesting idea...

Why couldn't we see Bran in Season 5? Would've been way better than Arya's story.

Still creates a plothole, since him making that happen is what led to him ending up with the raven in the first place... so it's a loop.

Lots of good evidence has piled up that the Umbers could be playing Ramsay.
