Arya is definitely not going to die. And Jorah might have another season left, in terms of the greyscale, although I suspect he could sacrifice himself for Daenarys at some point. I don't think Cersei is going to die yet though. Tommen is a possibility, but I think Cersei will die in the final season. Agreed, Arya and Cersei are characters that won't die until the end (if at all). Jorah could really go either way this season since so many people thought he'd die last season. But I think Tommen has the highest chance of dying. He's just a pawn right now and he's the last of Cersei and Jamie's children that needs to die.

And yeah, that pictures probably Jon leading the Wildlings against the Boltons. Wasn't there a leaked image of his actor in armor in a snowy setting that looked similar to that? That's probably Episode 9 or 10.

First episode was alright, really just an introduction to all the plot lines and all of it was very expected and no surprises for the most part. The stuff with the Nights Watch was easily the most intriguing though. Also no surprise about Mel at the end from me tbh...

Tbh I guess you could say it was kinda dull for 75% of the time... Like I literally put every part together before it happened from the trailers I guess the one surprise was the death of the prince and his son, I mean I expected it may happen eventually but not this episode

It was a good premiere. I agree with Newan that the Wall parts were by far the best (that's the storyline I care the most about right now). But it sort of revives some criticisms I had with the Season 5 finale. What was the point of leaving Stannis' death and Sansa and Theon's fates as cliffhangers? Since Stannis is definitely dead and Sansa definitely escaped they shouldn't have made it ambiguous in the first place.

I agree about Stannis... no point in not showing his death if they never planned on actually showing it... instead they mentioned it in one sentence... But Sansa and Theon escaping was kind of similar to most plotlines at the end of season 6, like Deanerys getting kidnapped... which was kind of a cliffhanger too.

Well. The Martells are dead. Kind if disappointing. They seemed interesting... Doran seemed like one of the most sensible people in the series... and he makes great rings. Newan

I find it funny how Bran's storyline doesn't even start until the second episode. He's really been taking a backseat lately.

It's too bad Robb Stark couldn't ally with Dorne.

Ok SPOILERS ahead...
Wow this episode was way better than last weeks... Honestly I thought the premiere sucked and was one of the most uneventful episodes in GOT history. Stupid Dorne plotline didn't help with that either. And the premiere was rather short only 45 minutes, this episode was more in line with usual length (52 minutes ish).
But a lot of cool stuff went on this episode that will really help advance the plot for this season, Ramsay taking control of Winterfell, Jon Snow being revived (such a surprise...), New leadership on the Iron Islands and setting up events with the High Sparrow. I can already tell this season will have a lot more excitement... And death in comparison to season 5.
I'm probably still the only one that thinks this but I love Ramsay as a character... Finally we get a strong tyrant like leader who will rule with fear. Joffrey thought he was that guy but he was just a big bitch like Anakin in AOTC.
Also random thought but I am not convinced Stannis is dead... If he was there would be no reason to not show it in season 5. GOT wouldn't shy away from that without reason. Just like many think the Hound is still alive.
Oh and I thought we would see Littlefinger this episode... Guess that will be next week now. He likely has to meet up with Sansa before she gets to the Wall as we see him in a forest environment in the trailer.
Tbh the Dorne storyline sucks and I also think anything outside of Westeros just sucks and is pretty irrelevant to the real plot as I like to call it... At least Tyrion and Varys is making that crap story 2x better though. Arya is irrelevant as well.

Reason I thought about Stannis was when he said "War of the Five Kings and the other Four are dead". But then I was like hmm. We saw the other 3 die but not Stannis so nah.
