Eh, 8 seasons feels like too much, especially because it seems like they're moving at such a fast pace now. I thought the whole point of pushing things along was so that they could do two more seasons (one for each of the last two books). I guess we'll just have to see how they split it up now.

Ugh, this probably means they'll spend the whole season playing "Where's Daenerys"

I actually hope it isn't Robet's rebellion. Part of what makes Game of Thrones so fun to watch is that everything is unexpected, you never know what will happen. But we know exactly what happened in Robet's rebellion... so that would make it a bit less interesting to watch. True. Also it's just a bunch of battles so IDK. *That I would still watch

It's cool how in this show the four title card houses slowly go extinct. If you think about it, there probably won't be anymore Starks, Lannisters, Baratheons, or Targaryens.
Well the Targaryens will actually probably make a come back to due to Jon Targaryen, but at the beginning they were screwed. Viserys died really early leaving Daenerys the only (known) Targaryen. If she dies, House Targaryen is extinct. And then House Stark died off by the end of Season 3. The Red Wedding saw to that. Now they're all scattered everywhere and presumably won't have any children named Stark. Then Season 4 saw the end to House Lannister. He's, there still are Lannisters but there won't be any more. Tyrion is the only one who might have Lannister children but it doesn't make sense that he would. Jaime or Lancel won't have any Lannister children either. And surprisingly, House Baratheon is totally extinct due to Season 5. Stannis and his family were the last and they all died. Well I guess you could say Tommen is that last Baratheon but let's be real. Tommen is gonna die soon and he's really just a Waters.

I'm pretty sure there's still quite a few Lannisters left since there's Tywins brother and his family and I think he has other brothers cause there was those Lannisters kids who died in season 3

His only remaining child is Lancel. There are still cadet branches of House Lannister, such as House Lannister of Lannisport. So if all the Lannisters of Casterly Rock are killed, the Lannisters of Lannisport will continue the bloodline.

No one will legitimize him (Dany might, but why would she? She'd lose her claim) and the whole importance of R+L=J isn't that Jon is a Targaryen with a claim to the Throne, it's that Jon has Valryian blood AND blood of the First Men. Fire and Ice. His house name is irrelevant... Jon's importance lies in the fight against the Others, not the Throne. House Stark will continue through Rickon or Sansa. Arya will die IMO, Bran won't continue the line, and Jon can't. So Rickon or Sansa. House Lannister can survive through their cadet branches. Yes, Baratheon is gone, I agree. As for House Targaryen... Dany would have to continue it but she can't have children. So it dies after her.

What do you guys think will happen to Davos in Season 6? He's at the Wall. Sansa and Theon are headed to the Wall. Sansa knows Rickon and Bran are alive. Sansa will task Davos to go find them. (He's looking for Rickon in the books as of right now)

I'm going to say the white walkers Potato is Awesome up Westeros pretty bad. I also am not convinced Dany will ever cross the sea She's basically killing time at this point but I think she will eventually. (I just hate how they'll probably spend a whole season on "Where's Daenerys" and Tyrion probably won't get that much to do either)

(He's looking for Rickon in the books as of right now) But why does Davos care about Bran or Rickon? In the books he's sent by Wyman Manderly to retrieve Rickon so House Manderly can pledge to Stannis. As for the show, well... his king is dead. He has no one. And he knows Ned Stark died for Stannis (in a way). And the Boltons killed Stannis. So when Ned's daughter comes to tell him that the heirs to Winterfell are still alive and could challenge the Boltons, well, Davos should get them.

I'm going to say the white walkers Potato is Awesome up Westeros pretty bad. I also am not convinced Dany will ever cross the sea If she never crosses, then her whole storyline was a huge waste of time. She has to cross. She and her dragons will fight the Others. But... once the whole war ends... I personally think that she might realize that Westeros is too alien for her. So she goes back to Meereen.

So what about Rhaegal and Viserion? Will they just stay in the dungeon until Tyrion gets drunk and let's them out?

So what about Rhaegal and Viserion? Will they just stay in the dungeon until Tyrion gets drunk and let's them out? I don't even know what they're doing with them on the show. In the books they've been freed. Tyrion has always had a fascination for dragons. And he rules Meereen. He might accidentally free them.. but I don't see him as being that stupid.
