I never really found anything that sad or overly disturbing Me neither TBH. The Red Wedding was difficult to watch because a lot of main characters died horrible deaths, but I wasn't too disturbed by it. Shireen's screams really got to me though... Hmm the most disturbing may have been Theon being tortured but I think he will be redeemed and help Sansa

Did anyone else think the Dorne resolution was anticlimactic? Their punishment for breaking into Dorne was literally just Bronn getting punched in the face. I have a feeling there could be a bit more revealed about all of this in the next episode though (maybe Ellaria tries to kill them one last time). I don't think so but for some reason I'm growing attached to the idea that Cersei might be executed by the Faith Militant and all Jaime and Bronn did won't matter much I hope you're right.

Lol, this is the part where Disney buys ASOIAF. So now half of Season 6 will be released as "bonus content" and Disney will release their family friendly "A Game of Thrones" movie.

Pretty sure GOT makes at least 5x more money as TCW. With how good TCW animation and everything was for 22 episode seasons I'd say they probably didn't make much of a profit tbh

But don't worry folks, there will be a new, lamer, much cheaper series set in the GOT universe coming to you on Disney Channel!

Now that Season 5 is almost over i will say this was not the greatest season. Still good but not as great as the 3 before it (S1 is still a bit boring IMO) Most of the problems i had this season: - Nothing expected. Almost everything you could've seen coming miles away; Cersei's Arrest, Shireen's burning, Jorah in the fighting pits, Drogon to the rescue. The most unexpected thing of the entire season (and perhaps series) was the White Walkers showing up. - Sansa. A boring character for 4 seasons. Then she gets more interested in a few episodes. And then she gets the Jeyne Poole storyline and her character is ruined again. - Dorne. This whole storyline was boring and led nowhere (so far) I liked the Jaime Bronn team up though - Jon immediately killing Jaos Slynt. It happened too fast - Most of the show's 'shock value' felt forced. Especially the 'too old' scene from last week was eye rolling. Still Arya's storyline is good. - Unsullied are pussies this season. All they do is die instead of showing the fighting force they were supposed to be Not a lot of problems but still some that bring it down. Still looking forward to the finale though I'd say: 1. Season 4 2. Season 3 3. Season 2 4. Season 5 5. Season 1

It was a really tragic story that had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. And "Baelor" was magnificient. Season 5 is the worst IMO.

Yeah, this season kinda ruined Sansa. Like I thought she was going to grow a lot after escaping Joffrey. And she did seem to get a bit stronger and smarter. But then this happened. She's back to her old self from the last few seasons. She's weak again. I'm just like "Why did you writers even bother to take her out of King's Landing if you're gonna put her in the exact same situation?" Did they want to build her up so they could knock her down harder or something. I'm kind of okay with a lot of the stuff people hate about Season 5. But Sansa's negative growth just really bugs me.

In you guys forgot though, the last finale had four major deaths in it! (Sandor Clegane, Jojen Reed, Shae, Tywin Lannister)

I think this season's been really good. I think Game of Thrones is starting to suffer what many good TV shows/film series suffer, and that's heightened expectations. As the content gets better, people continue to expect more. After the greatness of Season 4, I think people might have expected a bit too much, especially since this season needs to sort of start setting things up for the remaining seasons. I don't really have a clear distinction of the previous seasons (I watched all four in a row over a year ago), but I do agree that Season 4's still the best.

Season 4 is the best

So do you guys think Arya's going to successfully kill Meryn Trant next episode? I think she will but she'll be punished for it (either that, or she'll almost succeed and Jacquen will stop her).

Also, how much do you think we'll actually see of Dany? I was expecting her last scene of the season to be of her flying off on Drogon, but it seems like they still have one more scene planned for her.

Don't think he's alive personally, this isn't the kind of show that lets characters come back to life like that. Usually I'd agree, but I think they may be going this route in the books, and the fact that they actually didn't show the Hound die makes me think there's still a chance for him (same with Syrio from Season 1, although I think he could just be Jacquen H'agar). Plus, it looks like they're resurrecting the Mountain, so maybe he could have an epic fight with the Hound in Season 6 or 7.

It still feels like they have a lot of unfinished business with each other.

The mountain didn't really die though, did he? He thought he was just seriously injured/dying and that one maester was keeping him alive.
