They cancelled TCW, 1313, closed LucasArt and released some crappy apps and games nobody likes. I'd say, they're intentionally trying to upset the fanbase. But I looked it up and all of the previous EU stories are now part of another canon called "Star Wars Legends". So they did become non-canon. From the point of view of a anti-EUer maybe, but in reality they are still canon but at a much lower level than they used to be From my point of view that means it isn't canon. If something is a considered "lower level of canon" it isn't canon.

Yeah, it was confirmed everything other than the movies, TCW, and Rebels is non canon. There's really no debate for it anymore, it's been confirmed. They can be reused, but that doesn't make them canon.

This is the only implication in the original article of any EU being non canon, and it only applies to post-Episode 6

Actually, most of the articles made about it interpret it the wrong way. They assumed the bit about making room for the Sequels meant no more EU (which is obviously wrong)

The only reliable source is the statement made by Disney on the matter and they did not imply at all that all the EU would become non canon

Why is this even being talked about anymore? EU is non canon now. It's now all part of the Legends thing. It can still be used, but it being shelved means it's non canon unless it's used again (and even if it's used again, it will probably be used in a different way than it originally was). There's no "higher level" of canon now, something's either canon or it's not.

Wait weren't you the one saying you didn't consider it canon forever? Don't use that argument it's only considered non canon when the majority of people actually give into Disney saying its non canon you're not going to just tell an entire fan base overnight that everything is non canon and have people accept it. Disney said it's non-canon. Lucas said it's non-canon. I say it's non-canon. If people want to believe its canon then it's canon. Lucas never said the EU wasn't canon... You obviously can't tell people what's canon to them and what's not. And who really cares if Disney says it's non canon? Disney is not going to go and over write every aspect or the EU they're not going to suddenly make no stories for everything before TPM when Disney has no interest in that. Everything pre movies and a lot of in between is pretty much as good as canon.

I didn't really care who won this round anyways. Both are equally awesome. But I guess that last arc gives Fives the edge. Plus, this draw needs to end.

I probably would have had Obi-Wan beat Cad Bane if they ever met in a match, but they obviously didn't. It's good to have a This is Madness tournament where a character doesn't win just because they were in the movies.

Yeah it's kinda funny now that works out sometimes someone will argue well they didn't make it to the finals so they're not better than the 2nd place guy (Cad Bane) but in reality the 3rd place guy probably would have beat him too. Just cause the heroes had stronger characters. Kinda like the real TIM I think Han would have stood a lot better chance against Luke or Yoda then Obi-Wan. Or Hockey people say Rangers are the 2nd best team cause they lost in the finals but really 6 of the west teams that went into the playoffs could have kicked the Rangers ass.

I don't know hy it has this many brackets. I started with two and then tried to delete one. But now whenever I tried to delete all but one, the number of brackets magically increases...

I know it's weird no one else who downloaded it reported this problem though so it must be something we're doing. I have collapse initially on now so it doesn't take up space.
