The Magic Tree House Series
Well today I am going to review the Magic Tree House Series. I have not read all of the books in the series, but I have read enough to give a review on the overall feel of the whole series. Including the merlin mission books in the series, those are the newer more bigger books in the series. The Magic tree house series is about a brother and sister named Jack and Annie, they find a mysterious tree house in the woods. It is filled with books, which can send them to the time period in the book. So every book in the series is about them traveling through a book in the tree house in the woods in the series. Yeah kind of confusing but yet very simple. It seems the kids never learn their lesson because they always go back for more adventures when in some of them they nearly die. Also some random lady named Mary I think is the one who sends them on their adventures. I don know why she doesn't send like some elite task force or like a cop instead of little children. I think she takes advantage of them. Anyways the books always seem to somewhat disappoint me. I remember picking a book out of the series, one of the books is about them traveling to like the ocean. On the cover it sows them in the tentacles of a PO looking octopus. So I thought it would be a cool one. But like I said it was disappointing like the other ones because the octopus actually saved the kids from a storm...so I read the book for nothing. Also the books are very short, which means there isn't enough room for details and character development for all the new characters. Thus making the books less appealing and enjoyable when reading them. They are very easy reads too, mainly because they are for elementary level. To prove my point I read one of the books to refresh all my memory on them, but it only took like an hour to read one of the books...yeah so very easy. I wouldn't ever read one of the books again because they are for short hobbit children. Overall this series is forgettable but does its job as what it is worth. Which isn't much.
Recommended: To elementary level dumb children 6.4/10 on the good reads scale. 6/10 on the enjoyment level.

Here are some excellent books/series:
• To Kill A Mockingbird • Eragon Series (Inheritance Cycle) • Time Riders • Gifted Hands • The Giver • The Westing Game (I remember liking it when I read it about 4 years ago so I assume I'd still like it) • Percy Jackson (both series) • Redwall (and some of the others in the series)

I haven't even read the most recent one. And I loved the Eragon series as well.

It's been awhile since I've read the whole series though. And Eragon was epic.

But the books normally go from September to January, and then the following one would go from January to June. So he could be there for 6 books.

How many of you guys have read this book? It's a really good book. One of my favorites, actually. If you're interested in a good story, this is one of them. It's called Weasel. The name is kind of lame but it's a great suspenseful story. The main storyline goes like this. There lives a boy (the person seen in the picture) a little girl and the Grandpa of the house. They live deep in the forest in there own Log Cabin. One day the Pap realizes they're running low on meat. He sets out to hunt for more meat so they can survive the Winter. They await his return to what would seem up to no more than three or four days. Time passes and day by day they await his return. But up to four months now and no sign of his pap's return. Scared and worried that his Pap may be injured or even dead, he sets out to find him. He journey's the woods alone and afraid of what he may find. Not until he journey's in the dark woods on the outskirts of his Cabin, does he start to see shadows and the feeling as if he is being followed. Just then he is reminded of the Legends his Grandpa used to tell him about a murder and stalker who lurked in these parts of the woods. The mysterious man known as Weasel has not been seen in decades, until the night he encounters him on a chase seen in the dark. Could this Weasel be the reason his Grandpa went missing? Frightened and alone in the woods he searches desperately for answers...

It's really a great book, I think you would enjoy it . There's probably more books I've read in the past that I can refer you to but I have to think first. I'll let you know if I get any more good books on the top of my head.
