I actually did see this but not the official version. It reminds me alot of the old show <3. But if you have not seen the original series.... You probably will NOT be able to know alot about what all these things mean in the trailer.

Just my analysis from both trailers that I saw: - The reason behind all these nonbenders becoming benders is most likely due to the spirits. There's so many spirits that do almost anything. Iroh could be roaming the streets of Ba Sing Se you never know!
- ZUKOOOOO!!!! Zuko does return after such a long period of time, with a dragon too. Most likely either the Sun People's two dragons or a spirit. I expect a lovely return from Katara, might be a very well done emotional scene.
- Lin is a major character in the storyline. She has a sister, and is struggling from her rosky relationship with her. Lin might have had a bad relationship towards her mother Toph. And maybe Toph gave her the scar?
- Korra has started to learn metal bending!
- There is a new society/clan of benders trying to return to their old ways. The "Spark sparky boom man" type of people return. Also part of the society.
- There were rumours saying Azula would make a return. Maybe she is the "Sparky Sparky boom man" lady, because why would Zuko be facing her?
- Ba Sing Se is back and looks alot poorer compared to last time. The Earth Queen is supposebly the villain, and has been using the spirits to get bending elements.
- The Dai Li has returned going back to their old roots. Using the chrystal room, and kidnapping civillians. They do seem to be actuall on the good side. I do think they want to stop those who change their element because they detained the boy who was airbending. Or the Dai Li want to overthrow the Queen. Either way, Team Avatar faces them.
- The Water Bending lady in the jail cell looks alot like Hama from Season 3. But most likely a new character
- Sand benders are back. And new monsters in there. I thought I saw the old library too.
- Republic City seems to be gearing up for another battle against these symbol people. Kidnapping certain members in the city too.
- Asami seems to have gotten a big character development. After seeing that benders are not that bad as her father told her about, I'm sure though that seeing nonbenders choose to have a bending ability has affected her. She might change to become a bender, or get angry at those who do.
- Bumi learns airbending.
- Theres two jail cell victims. One who is old and one who is pretty buff. One of them (buff one) looks like the man that was trying to bring back Toph to her parents. While the old man sort of looks like Ozai, but that would be impossible unless somehow they found a way to live for a long time.
- Jinora looks down upon this green acidic building that looks alot like it would be man made. But I feel like this is something pretty big that is key to the story. But I'm still not sure what it is exactly.

Yes, he did remind me of Ozai... but it would indeed be very unrealistic to have Ozai return... but with those spirits around anything is possible.

And by the way, the Dai Li kidnapped one of Tezin's children, not these new airbenders.

I'm very surprised that you aren't confused by this show I mean, what did you think about Iroh's appearance in book 2? That scene must have had no effect on you and/or confused you. But yes you should watch it. It's a bit childish though (especially the first season). But the last two seasons have very good character development and back stories.

So I'm guessing that they have to kill Korra in the avatar state. But Korra rarely goes into the Avatar state, and is that even possible since what happened last season she has no more past lives?

Well, apparently she's having problems getting into the avatar state at the start of the season. But in one of the trailers you can see her eyes turn white... so I guess she can still do it. It wouldn't make much sense though, unless she restores he connection with the previous avatars.

Well, that was awesome. I just decided to watch it all So, these villains are trying to take out the avatar AND the White Lotus... which is interesting... I predict Zuko is going to get himself killed in this season, there seemed to be some kind of foreshadowing atmosphere and he didn't really appear in any other shots of the trailer, only the ones on the northpole and at the prisons he went to. Also, I like how the Dai Li are back and still brainwashing people, and they're even scarier now And Ba Sing Se is worse than it was during Last Airbender... I also like how to use minor plot points (like mind-firebending) from Last Airbender again in Korra.

That was a great season premeire! I just loved the atmosphere of the whole season already. The two beginning episodes sort of had a slow start but it was interesting. The President is still a d*ck. Even after Korra saved him from Amon, and Vatuu. I still don't understand why only airbending is being given? Why not the other elements. But damn... these villains. Very dark, mysterious, and interesting. I've seen previews of the mind bending girl and she is beyond epic. And I loved the scenes between Zuko. It felt alot like the old series from Zuko to Ba Sing Se. And the Twins returned and I laughed a few times too with them so that was good. Ba Sing Se grrr... The Eath Queen was funny, but she's such a biatch. She really is a cruel woman, and she's behind the Dai Li too. And Kai (Ki, Kye) seriously is a little annoying child. I really hope he loses his airbending. Where's Amon when you need him! Mako and Bolin scenes were sad with the grandmother though . But this season is really a big character development for everyone. I'd give it a 9/10 for a series premeire.

Also, I don't get why that new airbending villain was a highly secured prison if he couldn't even bend... And yes, it was good to see Zuko again. Zuko, the white lotus in action and the Dai Li really made it feel like Last Airbender. I don't like the Earth Queen though... she's nothing like her father... And this Kai is exactly the kind of bender Amon hates. I'm sure he'd like to take away his bending... if only he was still around. I wonder if Iroh will meet Zuko this season (or in the next one). I mean, people and spirits can now travel between worlds freely. Zuko could go into the spirit world to visit Iroh or maybe Iroh could visit him in the human world (although maybe he can't/won't do that since he's basically dead). It would be very interesting to see that. Also, since there are airbenders in the Earth kingdom and all kind of benders living together in Republic City wouldn't the avatar cycle become pointless? I mean, the next avatar should be an earthbender, but what if he's born in republic city and discovers his firebending first because one of his parents is a firebender? That would make the entire cycle pointless.

If he was still alive today, I'm sure he would be like Zuko evil in the beginning, and friends with the Avatar the next season. I really do hope Iroh returns! They should all have a reunion too It turns out that Toph is still alive too, so Toph Katara and Zuko should all meet up some day. But did it ever explain how Iroh got to the spirit world? If anyone can become a spirit, what's stopping Zuko Katara and Toph. Maybe that's why the Villains want the Avatar dead, and the cycle to be broken. You never know these villains could've been beaten up (Like the armless girl) and tortured by the White Lotus. They might actually have a good meaning to why they are doing what they are doing.

But I don't think Amon was evil anyway, he was right, benders did often use their powers for oppression and they have lots of privileges. And is it confirmed that Toph is alive? And not anyone can just become a spirit. Iroh is just so awesome that he discovered the secret. He was already close to the spirits in Last Airbender. He could see spirits without entering the spirit realm and he actually went to the spirit world before. I'm sure Zuko and the White Lotus wouldn't have tortured. The armless waterbender seemed to be very good at using water-bending arms. I'm sure she didn't have arms before she went to prison either. And I guess we'll find out more about the motives of these villains later...

Sucks that they only thought it would be one season, and look at where we are today. I still wonder what the final season will be like. Iroh should've passed on what he learned about spirits to Zuko, and keep it going as a family thing. But the guy who was surrounded in water, he's either an earthbender or firebender. He bends lava, which is a mix of Earth and Fire... So I wonder if he got that from the Harmonic Convergence or not

Here's the thing about why they suspended it, "Nickelodeon was initially reluctant to approve the series and suspended production because, unlike in almost all American animated series, the protagonist was a girl.[34] Conventional wisdom, according to Konietzko, had it that "girls will watch shows about boys, but boys won't watch shows about girls". The creators eventually persuaded the channel's executives to change their mind. Konietzko related that in test screenings, boys said that Korra being a girl didn't matter to them: "They just said she was awesome."
