Kind of a naff episode for me. Had something interesting going on in the last few moments, but other then that, it wasn't that great.

A very good episode yet again. I liked how this one took a much more lighter (often comedic) tone like last season Robot of Sherwood. The plot however was very basic, but good enough to be entertaining. Those set designs though. This episode was really, really odd i can't quite put it into words. But at the same time that's what made it so good.
I can already tell that people are going to be split on this one.

I actually really liked these last two. And Series 9 has been pretty great TBH. I wasn't too crazy about the premiere, but I've really enjoyed every episode since.

Finally watched Woman who lived yeah not that great... So she's no one..? They gave lots of hints but never blatantly said anything... Kind of "anti-climatic" imo... Liked seeing the guitar again though. Kinda weird but I'm glad he has his thing. The rock star Doctor lol
Next episode doesn't seem very interesting either just another present day UNIT ep with some action. I really want to get to Gallifrey stuff..

But yeah, it kinda sucked how they played her up to be someone important in the trailers but nothing came of it. With Gallifrey being freed up it would be cool to see people from there show.

But they didn't play her up as an existing character. Steven Moffat himself said she was a completely new character. The only reason why people expected her to be a major returning character was because fans wouldn't listen to him. They hyped her up, yes, but that was mainly because of the actress who was playing the character.

I really liked The Girl Who Died. It was one of the funniest episodes in a while, and it was pretty fun in general as well. The Woman Who Lived wasn't as good, but I still thought it was alright. I do agree that the Zygon two parter looks sort of "generic" though. But overall, I'd say the first half of Series 9 was great.

That's the part i hated the most about the trailers. It felt like they were just shoving it in our faces that Maise Williams is in this season.

Yeah, I can understand why it threw people off. They should have shown Maise in the trailer some other way than with that scene. Still, aimless speculation is always fun.

Like TBH, they should've just shown clips of her from the Viking one. That would make the rest more of a surprise.

Well it wasn't just the trailer, it looked like the Doctor recognized her in the Girl who died and in the Woman who lived, it seemed like she knew things about him (however it was more ambiguous)

Wasn't very excited for the last episode but it was actually pretty good. I like that they used the "We are the Doctors" soundtrack which they never did in the 50th

I thought it was okay. I liked the intro with the callback to Day of the Doctor and the explanation for Osgood being alive was pretty simple but worked really well.

That scene when the soldiers go into the church though... I was cringing so bad. UNIT's stupid.

I agree this episode was also pretty mixed. Atleast it was better then last week's. The first half was really strong though but UNIT felt underwhelming and very standard crime-show fare. The Clara reveal at the end was great though! I didn't see that coming to be honest.

I figured they'd do a big reveal like that since shape shifting is the main point of the Zygons, but I still thought it was handled pretty well (and I was still surprised a bit). Actually, a lot of the time I thought that other lady was going to be a Zygon. So I'd definitely say the twist worked as a surprise.

Glad the Zygon stuff is over it got kind of less interesting as it went on..
Looks like the next episode is the one with like the found footage stuff... I thought that was going to be another one in the present. Like in the trailer with the black kid looking confused in modern day, I thought it would be that but guess not..

Zygon Inversion was alright overall, but damn Capaldi's speech was fantastic. That was some of the best acting I've ever seen from Doctor Who.

The one in flatline wasn't all that great. However I wish there was some music. Most of it was just silence.. But also I think they should stop using the I-killed-my-people thing. Like it was cool... But that was before he saved Gallifrey... Now it's just weird.. He knows he saved Gallifrey so I think the he should be more okay. Kinda bothers me that they keep shoving that in at times.... But yeah still really good speech the American accent was funny

Matt Smith had some really great ones (Pandorica Opens, Rings of Akhaten, Time of the Doctor), so I'm happy that Capaldi finally got a proper one. And yeah, the accent threw me off a bit at times.

And this season has been really good IMO Apart from "The Woman Who Lived" this season is indeed very strong I'm preparing myself for a tearjerker ending for Clara.
