What do you all think about Clara leaving this season? I think it's sort of overdue. I was expecting it to happen in Series 8, but she stayed so then I expected it to happen in Last Christmas. Then she stayed again. Now it's been officially confirmed she'll be leaving though. I like Clara a lot, but I definitely think she's been on long enough at this point and they should change things up. She's been one of the longest running companions. I saw it coming but i kinda don't want her to go. Clara is one of my favorite companions so far.

Just had a blast with the new episode. There were so many stand out moments that were full of surprise and feeling. Just a shame it'll take a while for me to get used to the new sonic specs if they become a regular thing Other then that, no complaints here.

Great episode, I liked it better than last week's. So I guess this is Capaldi's way of getting his own "screwdriver". I would have preferred a traditional design as opposed to the glasses though. Also, did Davros really not account for all of the dead Daleks to rise back up when he used the regeneration energy? Shouldn't he have been prepared for that to happen?

yeah good episode. Kinda forgot about all the regeneration stuff.. I guess someone's always after them though lol
I think the sonic Ray Bans are cool I thought they would be gone after this episode but guess not because there was another shot in the trailer with him wearing them next to unit. But yeah pretty original. In the classics, some Doctors didn't use screwdrivers I think so 12 will be like them. It's good though like in season 8 he hardly used it so I don't think they need it. With Matt they used it way too much..
Also nice way to send off Missy. Now for some just Doctor/Clara episodes which will be good. But do we know if she's coming back? I think all the shots of her in the trailer were from these eps. It'd be crazy if she was in the Christmas special with River..... Lol

Lol They haven't confirmed when Clara's leaving for sure, but I'd say it'll almost definitely be in the finale. Jenna Coleman was talking about having filmed her final scene already, and she said that before they started filming the Christmas special. I bet it'll just be the Doctor and River in the Christmas special (and the usual random one-off characters). Maybe we'll get Clara in one or two "vision" type things if the Doctor's grieving about it.

Yeah, Missy, 12, and River all in one scene would be amazing.

A really funny coincidence with the last ep It was placed in an underwater base with a horror tone. Recently the game SOMA was released, wich is a horror game (from the creators of Anmnesia) that takes place in an underwater base

This was good. I think I was most excited for these episodes It kind of reminded me of some older eps like with 10 I think like the Library or the Mars or that Satan one or something.. But I like those episodes with the sci-fi setting, some crew, etc.
12 seems a bit like 11 at times though which is weird.. But it happened with like 10 and 11 too. But I like him a little more humorous than in season 8 and a little less of a jerk..
Can't wait for next week kind of annoyed with these cliffhangers though lol

I think this two-parter originally was my least anticipated of the season, but I really liked Under the Lake. Before the Flood looks great as well. And yeah, Capaldi's a lot more humorous and not as serious now that he's in his second series. He's still got a similar attitude to last season too, so I think he's sort of settled into the role now.

I think there were rumors of Capaldi leaving after this season.. I hope not I'd like to see him with a new companion
But I also don't want him to be like the last Doctor... I'm not sure how many more seasons DW will have hopefully we can get to a 60th anniversary...

Another magnificent episode. A good mix of clever timey whimey stuff with some horror elements and genuine emotion. The Fisher King looked incredible. Too bad he didn't really do much.

I think that episode was about on par with the previous one, so in other words it was great. The Fisher King's voice was awesome. Fun fact: the guy who voiced the Fisher King also voiced Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace.

Maul only had like 2 lines anyway so I don't know why they felt the need to give him a different voice.

As for the poll, I say nay to the sonic specs for now. They just seem pointless... everything that's been done with them so far could have been done with the screwdriver. And they feel a bit awkward. If they were going to make a new object 12's sonic, they could have went with better items than sunglasses.

They're cool. However I feel it's kind of tricky to use them sometimes like for one there's no button so activation is weird and like in the last episode the port he put them in was awkward lol... But I don't think it matters Capaldi didn't use the sonic much in season 8 so it's not really needed
And it makes me want to get some Wayfarers lol. I have like Ray Ban eyeglasses but not the Wayfarers which are da best

I have a sinking feeling that the MW character isn't actually anyone important and that the scene in the trailer was just taken out of context to mess with us... Kinda like "Clara Oswald never existed" last year.

Kinda like "Clara Oswald never existed" last year. I bet she's just a cool new character. Since the next episode is called "The Girl Who Died", I bet she'll die at the end of it. Then in the next one, "The Woman Who Lived", the Doctor will see her again in a different era (explaining the scene from the trailer). So sort of the same thing with Clara... but that's just my guess.
