Pinda did you finish yet? What? No. It's April... I won’t be done until late June. Also I just failed my thesis. It is kind of stupid because the teacher that is supposed to help me with my thesis said I was doing well. She even mentioned some specific things I did well and now those same things are wrong. So I have to fux my thesis now, while also following lessons and doing exams for the final quarter of the year. If I fail anything I won't get my diploma and will have to wait a year for another chance... So my next few weeks are actually going to be hell. |

Just finished my last exam... no more school for me until September 5th  Did really well in my history, art history and biology classes... French and English didn't go as well though Got French, Calculus, and Statics tests next week. Oh and an essay due Thursday. Oh and a Physics Lab Practical on Thursday too. Oh and the week after that I got Physics, Calculus, and French finals. You have so many different subjects. For me right now it is one history related subject (The Cultural Cold War) and one for my minor in Conflict Studies (Politics of Reconstruction and Intervention). |

I have at least 3 years left... Last year of my bachelor. After that I can do a 1 or 2 year master. I signed up for one, but it has a selection so I might not get in. Also, I have to fully complete my bachelor first. |

And Canadian history sounds boring. I am really glad Utrecht University does not have any Dutch history courses... some other universities have that but Utrecht is very European-focused. The only time we had to deal with Dutch history was during the "Earl Modern history" course, but that was because that is the only era where the Netherlands are relevant. |

Post-Confederation is extremely boring for Canadian History. Only interesting parts are the World Wars. I did my paper on the Canadian Navy during the Battle of the Atlantic, was quite an interesting research topic. Had no idea the Canadian Navy grew so large in only 5 years and played a fairly vital role in the survival of Britain. Pre confederation Canadian history from 1500-1867 was fairly interesting though, I think the Colonial Era might be my area of focus for my degree tbh. |

I don't think we even have an option for something like that closest would be summer classes but even those are more than 2 weeks Yeah some schools like my high school offered J term (January term) 2 week classes where you pretty much study one thing for the whole day every day... kinda trash imo. |

Cheating scandal going on in one of my classes. A girl asked my for simulations report so she could check it with hers. I said no. So she asked another guy and he said yes. And then she turned in his exact work and passed it off as her own. And it turns out the teacher isn’t nearly that dumb.

And then she turned in his exact work and passed it off as her own. And it turns out the teacher isn’t nearly that dumb. A friend of mine at another school had a class with a professor that purposely included an impossible problem on their exam (physics, I think), and then had the TA upload the answer to Chegg. Following the exam, the professor sent out an email saying that he noticed the class average was higher than expected based on the performance of students from this semester and previous semesters. He also said that he purposely included the impossible question so that anyone who solved it the way the TA did on Chegg would indicate who cheated. Based on that, he was going to give all students (about a fifth of the class) a 0 for the final and report them to the Academic Integrity Council. I get what the professor was going for, but that's so unethical. |

That's weird I think my school doesn't care that much with the current situation or at least knows they can't enforce stuff in the online environment. My accounting prof who was a real stickler about cheating all semester said he would mandate webcam monitoring during the online tests but in the end he just said fuck it. So I hella cheated on everything lol. Getting a B in accounting without knowing shit. But the most hilarious one is I'm getting an A in calculus and I literally do not know how to do a single thing. Like I don't think I even remember how to factor basic equations lmao 😎😎😎
Maybe I should feel bad but idk gotta do what you gotta do

I "cheat" too in that most of my tests are actually open book but my professors don't count on me having obtained a pdf of the textbook which I can search very quickly. I don't know, I've never really felt a moral obligation not to cheat since everyone did it blatantly in high school to protect their class rank. |
