Pretty much everyone speaks Dutch here. But it's like a secondary language for many people, although not everyone is very good at it. Do you take the bus too school? (Kinda a random question) People here take trains, busses but most go by bike (including me) I prefer bike over busses and trains, first off it's more healthy and second it's only a half hour ride to my school.

(Kinda a random question) Nobody does that here I think, at least not for primary or secondary school. I walk to school, since it's only 500 meters and it would take longer to get my bike to cycle to school (like most people do) than to just walk.

I've already had German. Just when i got the hang of it they dropped it. I can't drop it. I would have if I could. I'll be forced to learn German until I finish secondary school. I didn't drop it either. They dropped it for me. I was in the 3rd class from VMBO and when i got to the 4th it was gone.

There are like 5-10 primary schools and 3 secondary schools within a range of 5 kilometers from my home... I think people are more spread across the country in Canada or the US.

Besides, it would be an extra subject, so I'd have to spend 3 more hours at school, which I didn't like. But they don't teach Latin at my school anymore anyways, so it's a good thing i didn't choose it... and Chinese isn't even an option here.

Groups and classes we have. Well yes of course we have that too but I hear you talking about Secondary school and stuff? What is that we have Grade 1-12 and then College/ University. First we have Kindergarten until the age of 4 (i believe that was it) Then we go to Group 1 all the way to 8. From there on we go to a new school. I believe that is what Pinda means with Secondary. We call "Middelbaar Onderwijs" (We call it colleges as well btw) You say there for 4 years and then go a higher school (the one i am on now) and you stay there for you particular education until it's over. The years vary per educations. I have 3 years of Animal Health Care education and i will start my second year in 2 days.

But USA has the 3rd in population with over 300 Million where as we on,y have 37 million so yes we are very scattered the closet big city to me is 500 KM always from me.

But people always complain about them without thinking that over.

The we have Primary School Grades 1-3 (ages 6-9) then Middle school grades 4-6 (Ages 9-12) then Junior High grades 7-9 (Ages 12-15) then High school where you graduate Grades 10-12 (Ages 15-18) after that you go to college or university where you study for your career. College I guess would be similar to your animal course .

But people always complain about them without thinking that over. I don't think trains have problems with 10 centimeters of snow and they also adapted their schedule when it was hot... they just do it whenever the weather changes. And they always have those "weather alarms" which always turn out to be exaggerated.
