Another title is "Out of Darkness" more like "Cloak of Darkness" It's a fucking title... And not even the same there's tons of things with the same title or reference to something seriously stop comparing it. |

Yeah actually why would they be training children I didn't think about that before... I guess they have some special program or maybe they're orphans or something and have nothing else idk... I think they sometimes forget Stormtroopers aren't dispensable Clones... Like the clone cadets makes sense this doesn't.. And neither does Kallus kicking a soldier off a pole thing to his death.. Their helmets look so bulky. What is Ezra's obsession with helmets honestly. This sort of reminds me of the "The Headband" from ATLA. IDK a lot of these episodes are copies of ATLA and TCW. Not surprised since Filoni did a lot of work with either but come on. Get original or is he just that lost because he doesn't have the amazing Katie Lucas. Idk the helmets look cool IMO Also Empire Day is a holiday |

I enjoyed this weeks episode. I thought it was better than rise of the old masters. This episode actually had a pretty good plot this time and the graphics seem to be getting better and better (especially the space graphics). The only tiff about it, is that is resembled to much like the the Box from season 4 of TCW, with Ezra undercover an all an how the tests took place in a box like structure. Other than that I really can't complain, the epsiode was great this week. I'm sure Ezra is going to be happy that he told the kid that his name was something else rather than Ezra. I wonder what information the insquisiror will get from the captive kid/ cadet that he took custody of. I hope the kid finds his sister, it would be cool if they showed us finding her in the show.

Good episode reminded me of Clone Cadets but I think the last one was a bit better.. Man if they did arcs this would've been even better the first episode could've been like infiltrating the Imperials because they didn't show that at all.. And I wonder if they'll go back to that black kid and his sister I don't expect it though
And Inquisitor's and Kallus' faces looked really weird like it looked like the Inquisitor had ash all over him Pau'ans aren't completely white but they don't look like that either... And Kallus didn't have that many freckles or whatever before...
Speaking of the Inquisitor I hope they explain him a bit more because he's just kinda there randomly...

Oh yeah and that Kyber crystal... That's kinda weird like it sort of ties in with TCW Utapau arc too but still that was also really random and not explained well their stories are too big for one episode it just feels rushed

Just watched the new episode. Once again, another great one.
I also loved how during the first training round you heard the theme used for "The Box" in that TCW episode, wich adds alot of continuatiy between both shows and the movies. Meaning that the Box was a little bit of a prototype for imperial training (probably not back then, but later on)

We keep saying AT-DP's but I thought in this episode we would finally see an AT-AT or at least AT-ST... I wonder when we'll see those surely they won't skip on such iconic vehicles |

Oh yeah and I really enjoy the Imperial stuff. I think we can expect at least one episode completely about the Imperials further along in the series because shows like this usually have a "bad guy" focused episode. Probably something silly wiIth the Inquisitor and Kallus and retarded Stormtroopers  I think Transformers Prime had an episode like that with decepticon zombies or something.. Oh yeah retarded stormtroopers that reminds me the stormtroopers in the show don't seem like they could do that training course thing.. |

Damn that was the best episode yet IMO 9.5/10 for sure.
I think this was the first episode thst will kinda continue into an arc later with that kid. Idk but it feels like supernatural format where like they have an episode and then they continue it later on in another season like the Cain story in season 9 will probably be continued in 10.
Rebels Season 1 so far would be like a 9/10.

I voted 9.5 like I said. And 5 is the lowest since there's no argument that you can make that it isn't average- above average for a show like this at the minimum.

It felt a lot like the Box yeah which was like one of the best in season 4 but I think it made it maybe a bit less boring. The Box felt a bit repetive during the end I found. Though the stuff with Hera and Kanan was just like there really....

I gave it a 9 and I've only seen the first four episodes.
Pros:
- Classic SW feel
- Decent plots
- Good characters (based on just 4 episodes)
- Animation is pretty good, albeit not being as good as TCW (much better than pretty much everything else on TV minus a few shows like Korra and HTTYD)
Cons:
- plots aren't too complex, but this is just the beginning so it shouldn't be (not that I expect it to become a lot more complex, but I'm sure it may be a little better as it goes along)
- some cheesy dialogue
- some plot holes and several lucky breaks for the main crew (not to mention they can't really be killed...)
But yeah, so far, it's pretty good I think. Not as good as TCW obviously, but I'm still enjoying each episode, some just as much as TCW ones.
