Pretty much on par? So basically you are saying that Season 1 of TCW, which was made in 2008, is equal to Rebels in animation? That means that Rebels must be really bad, because despite being made 6 years later, it still can't beat season 1 of TCW.... I actually like it better than TCW season 1 animation. And plus TCW worked on that for 3 years. Rebels is only 1.5 years and started from scratch. So yes the animation will improve over time. And this is still much better than most things on the market. Disney has billions of money they can at least make better animation than that! |

Also, TCW team also started 'from scratch'. And they didn't have billions of money unlike Disney  They had a price for each episode they couldn't do certain things due to cost. |

There was a guy on XAT Chat once, I forget his name, but he had some design tool and made his own episodes they looked far better than Rebels too. |

And you forget that the movie in only like 4 episodes so... And you forgot that TCW team was smaller & they had a smaller budget. In addition, they were working with pre-2008 software.... |

Yes, I have seen some fanmade TCW animation (probably the same thing you're talking about), it was far better than this rebels trailer. And that was made by 1 person. |

You can easily judge certain aspects of a show (like the animation) before it is released. It is safe to say this is the final animation, otherwise they wouldn't have put it in this trailer. The only real differences are the time frame and the characters. It's still Star Wars and should live up to the high standards TCW set. |
