Well of course it's going to be lighter.... It's a show for young boys on Disney XD so you can't have expectations of it being dark with a lot of death... Some of you guys really need to stop raging after every little piece of "news" they give us......

Not necessarily. I mean, I'm sure we all would've definately preferred the show to be just as dark as TCW. But if Filoni says its going to be like ANH, it may not be as serious, but the show should still be fairly good. I mean, ANH was a great movie even though it wasn't too dark. So if Rebels is the same way, it could just be a lighter version of TCW but still good. ANH was dark. How about murdering all the Jawas and then Luke's family. That was in ANH, but it sure won't be in Rebels.

I mean, ANH was the only movie to include swearing and they consider it the most kid friendly (besides TPM) SW movie.

ANH was an extremely good movie but I didn't feel as much emotion as I did while watching things like ROTS and TCW. I want to *feel* when watching something, I don't want to just have fun. What's the point of loving characters if we're not going to feel happiness or sadness for them?
Mindless action for young boys with simple storylines is exactly what Rebels is going to be. Nothing to feel and no one to care for. Perhaps darkness isn't always so good, it's not, but we want to *feel* and to *think*. I don't like mindless action.

There wasn't really too much emotion for Owen and Puru, if anything it made things easier for Luke because now he could leave and do what he wanted. There was emotion for Obi-Wan though.

I always say I want "dark" stuff in TCW, but I really want powerful stuff. Like Umbara, Maul, Ahsoka. Those made me feel.

ANH was the worst Star Wars movie in my opinion, but it was rated 12+ here so I wouldn't say it was childish... I don't get why it was rated like that though.

And it has to get dark eventually, as one of the main characters is a Jedi and at the time of the original trilogy Luke, Yoda and Kenobi are the only remaining Jedi. This character has to die.

I don’t know I think Rebels may be good and possibly pass TCW in quality. Remember the first season when you look back at TCW isn’t very good the animation and voice acting is no where near as good as the past 2 seasons. Plus I think it’s already a given that Rebels will have more viewers than TCW did it’s on Disney XD plus it’s somewhat related to the new movies. They will most likely have more budget to work with now. I think we should definitely give it a good chance
