Looks like JAT's continuing his show, but this one was really good. I think Sam Witwer's incredibly lucky, a few of his roles he got by fluke lol. He looked like Starkiller and then he helped a casting director cross the street.
Also one thing they said made me realize the irony that if they never made TCW, Disney wouldn't have bought Star Wars and then cancelled it but they did so because they made TCW......

JAT's awesome, I'm happy he's doing this series. Everyone who worked on TCW seemed really passionate and knowledgable about it.

I don't really have the patience to watch these... But they're really good. Lux's voice actor is pretty cool although a little cringe at times He seemed like he had a ton of stuff to talk about as if this was his first time getting to speak in an interview.... But he talked about what I said, Disney wouldn't have taken over Star Wars if they hadn't made Clone Wars

Oh they added Umbara to SWTOR, just a story flashpoint and stronghold but it's still pretty cool.
Though I looked it up just for my own curiosity and as I suspected Umbara wasn't original to TCW, it's actually native to the Bane/ Old Republic era.
But then again Coruscant wasn't created in the prequels or by George Lucas, it was originally created in the EU sequel era and it's first appearance was the Thrawn Trilogy back in the early 90s

Though the train in the SWTOR Umbara more resembles that of the one with Boba Fett at the end of season 4, but I could see the Umbarans using similar tech

He finally got Matt Lanter on which I was excited for and also Cat Taber came in at the end. I guess JAT's really nostalgic about TCW I think out of all of them he must miss it the most if he made this show.
Also sensing some awkward tension between Matt and Cat wonder if they ever banged lmao

I mentioned this guy has good videos before if you are into Star Wars both canon and legends and don't feel like reading or watching everything.
This is a pretty good list with explanations here, tbh there was too much Ahsoka planned for the rest of the show, she should have had a more minimized role after "leaving the order". Not doing Jedi stuff like normal in two of these planned arcs....

How weird is it that “Bombad Jedi” one of the worst and most skippable TCW episodes was actually one of the most consequential?
Like not only did it cause the whole Gunray fiasco but also eventually led to “Senate Murders” which led to to the Umbaran arc because of the senator’s death prompting Umbara to leave to Republic.
Basically, Hardcase and Waxer’s deaths are Jar Jar’s fault if you really think about it.

Been able to rewatch some episodes lately. Honestly Season 1/2 are a lot better than people give them credit for.

Side note tho: Why do R2 centric episodes get progressively worse and more pointless as the series goes on?

It is actually kind of crazy how a few months before TCW got cancelled Filoni promised at least another 100 episodes... so if that had happened TCW would only have ended around now.

Was anyone else disappointed with how little Bane was in Season 2? The way it was marketed, I thought he’d be a pretty recurring villain (like Grievous in Season was or Dooku in Season 4).

They kinda pulled the same thing with Maul in Season 5. He only appeared in one arc, though they split off the first episode.

Hey I started this thread, whoop! Maul was under "casted" in season 5 but I feel with Rebels, Phantom Menace and what we did see from him in TCW, he was over used as a character.

By the way as a side note I started reading, "Dark Disciple" to catch up on what TCW would have told about Asajj's fate, as well as it being a canon book I like knowing what we could have seen, it's so easy to visualize. Has anyone read it? I bought the Ipad version so somehow I could probably get anyone a copy I'm sure.

Okay, there is one thing in the whole Siege of Mandalore Season 8 ending that does bug me a bit.
I know we never saw it but it could have been explained in a different way but as I understand it, Anakin is called away from the battle to rescue Palpatine and then Order 66 occurs while she is on Mandalore. My problem is, ROTS doesn't happen over a day or two, it seems to happen over a month or more. Anakins rescue the Chancellor and they just hangs around for awhile. Shouldn't he have wanted to get back to Mandalore to help Ahsoka? Instead, he fucks Padme the night he gets back, bitches at the Council, and goes to an opera? Why would he be doing any of this if Ahsoka is fighting for her life on Mandalore against Darth Maul?
I just don't think the Siege of Mandalore idea fits very well with the events of ROTS.

Yeah it doesn't make a lot of sense. If Mandalore was still a neutral planet they at least had some kind of excuse, but Rex did actually go with Ahsoka. So you are right, Anakin should want to get involved, especially with Maul there. Ahsoka is no match for him. Also, I don't understand why Palpatine is not more concerned about Maul. In the Son of Dathomir comic (I actually read it again last week after I got myself an actual copy of it) Palpatine seems to be content with the outcome because Talzin is dead and he doesn't see Maul are a threat anymore... But Maul apparently still controls Mandalore and he knows Palpatine's secrets and plans... He could just contact the Jedi and tell them about Palpatine, even provide them with proof. So the fact that Palpatine doesn't worry about that doesn't make sense either.

Also, they sent clones with Ahsoka, so I think the Jedi were allowed to interfere too.

I think the explanation for this would be the strategy by Palpatine to keep Anakin on coruscant by making him his personal representive. I'm sure if Dooku hadn't been killed in the battle then that card wouldn't have been played by Palpatine yet and things would continue on as normal.

It was never exactly explained really why Anakin was recalled to coruscant (Kenobi stayed on Umbara) during the Umbara arc but I'm sure it had something to do with Palpatine which is why I get the same vibe for ROTS keeping Anakin from Mandalore.

What bugs me more is that Anakin and Kenobi are supposed to be involved in the outer rim sieges for months before ROTS and yet they are wasting their time on a neutral planet fighting underworld thugs. Mandalore is in the outer rim but I doubt that arc had much to do with the Separatists. And Maul is a lesser priority then finishing the war.

I'm sure the main conflict was probably already over by the time Anakin and Kenobi leave anyways since Kenobi is assigned to Utapau and Anakin wanted to go as well... I mean really they could have both went to Utapau which is one of the most questionable things in the prequels. One of those REALLY forced plot points to progress the story.
