The man that sold it can be considered more at fault to the cancelation of TCW for a POV.. Are you serious? He created the show and made all those great storylines because he liked it so much. Dave Filoni even said George Lucas constantly called him about new storylines. Then I would have expected him to care for if a bit more... He stopped caring at some point.

In a lot of cases I think it's fine to blame it on them (if SW wasn't bought by Disney, TCW would still be airing), but I do agree people have taken it to extremes. Disney's a business and it's their job to make money. It's sad but it's the truth. Lucasfilm sold it to them anyway. People don't see the real logic behind everything though... Logical in business, yes, but are people at fault for being disappointed that precious things such as creativity are being ruined for money?

I wouldn't know. Maybe he just couldn't... maybe he didn't feel like it was worth trying... But I don't see what this has to do with Disney. The man that sold it can be considered more at fault to the cancelation of TCW for a POV.. George was being nice and considerate when he sold it, he wanted star wars to keep growing. Also I don't think he would've thoguht they would've canceled the show, especially because how good it was doing.

I blame CN for TCW not having better ratings. They're marketing was terrible and got worse every season. I mean they almost never advertised and didn't show reruns. They even stopped with previews altogether in Season Five. I mean how the fuck did they expect people to watch it when you had to do a scavenger hunt to figure out how to see it?

It's very sad when you watch Season 2 commentaries and see the crew so excited about the future and how DF would say that even GL was so excited with the series.
*sigh* they were probably filming season 5 back then.

I'm just guessing here, but the picture of Maul and Vos battling made me wonder if that's apart of the upcoming comic.

One year since Disney's famous middle finger salute to TCW fans... This is both a tragic and good day. But let's try to ignore the tragic part and celebrate the 1 year anniversary of this forum!

It's common sense though... Of course something would happen to TCW.. No it isn't, the show was doing great both in ratings and in viewership. Why would George think Disney would do something so stupid overall.

Also George could have looked at previous things Disney's done and noticed a pattern

Disney had people working in the Bangladesh factory that collapsed. But how did they know it was gonna collapse... Because they don't care for the working conditions of their employees. The factory was build to be as cheap as possible, but it wasn't safe. They knew it could collapse.

They knew it could collapse. Even those people who "employ" those workers lock the doors to make sure they don't get out.
