Disney cancelled it because they plan to cater to OT-loving prequel-hating fans and only to those fans. TCW is a prequel show and they can't have that. Also, it was expensive to make - they want cheap animation for kids. It's all business. Lets not forget profits and TCW not having the best ratings/most viewers.. |

Yeah Echo surviving makes everything with Fives kind of less emotional I guess I mean he was the last Domino squad member and he lost everything and all that but no there's another... TCW is reviving way too many characters.. Because they can't sustain 8 seasons with out reviving characters and going over things again. C'mon lets see some real battles and stuff rather than more episodes around characters. Good thing is most of them would start to die off soon... Bane, Rex, Maul hopefully Ventress. |

Yeah we haven't gotten any good battles in a while... I'm talking about good old clone vs droid not that Umbara stuff which was great but still. Outer rim sieges as well and something exciting and uniqe but not some lame adventure story with droids or gunguns... |

Then they revived Trench... Well he survived some similar situation before, but it is still very unrealistic. But alright, I'll accept that. And now Echo? It's getting a bit ridiculous. He died in front of many witnesses... and yet he survived. Really, death is starting to be pointless in the SW universe. Especially since Disney probably plans to revive characters for the sequel trilogy since they're too lazy to create their own. |

One of the big problems I had with Disney was that the original excuse for canceling TCW was that they wanted to "wind it down" and make way for the new movies. So why the heck do you make a completely new show? It just invalidates your reason for canceling TCW. It's sad, especially because there were so many more great stories left to tell. If they have the show just 2 more seasons they could have gotten everything, or at least most everything, they wanted to do done.

It was doing great for an animated series. Disney just wants it cheaper. Yah bro I don't like Disney because they really are kind of "evil" not just because they cancelled some tv show that's nothing compared to what else they do but I have to admire their strategies... They know how stuff works... Indeed. Having Filoni announce the series was "winding down" was a great strategy. Much of the hate got directed at Filoni at first. And many people didn't release "winding down" meant cancelled. It certainly made the resistance of TCW fans far less extreme. So I'll admit they're smart... but still... one of the most evil companies in the world. |
