So in comparison to other shows…. I guess 1. Andor 2. Mandalorian 3. Ahsoka 4. Kenobi 5. Book of Boba Fett Although idk looking back I may have liked BoBF a little more than Kenobi. I feel likes the high of BoBF we’re higher than Kenobi. Although I always have to think of it in a weird way because the two best episodes had barley anything to do with Boba which is why it ends up last. 1. Mandalorian 2. BoBF 3. Ahsoka 4. Kenobi I personally loved BoBF, moments like the tusken raiders really made the show. I could barely watch Kenobi, it was just not that good to me. I think Ahsoka is good so far, I enjoyed everything but I wasn't pulled to my seat like Mando. Remember that episode where Djin gets the Krayt Dragon pearl, the excitement of an episode like that I have yet to find in anything else. I still need to watch Andor, my friend gifted me an andor poster and I've had it on my wall for months idk who anyone on it is I agree, that Krayt Dragon episode might honestly be some of the best live action Star Wars of all time. I just love that entire action sequence and aesthetics of the episode. I probably like it more than some of the movies tbh. Also the end of season 2 with Luke was absolutely incredible seeing him for the first time in like 40 years. Even though I didn’t really like Mando season 3, it’s still a really good show.

This show had such a feeling of "Wait, that's it?". Feels lame just having Ahsoka and Sabine have a status quo swticharoo with Ezra. Whole show just feels like some overlong prologue to the actual story. The fact Ahsoka doesn't even have any well defined character arc also hurts here, especially when the Anakin episode treats it as though she actually has one (she really doesn't). It treated it like she'd lost faith or came at a crossroads with herself, but the truth is she's just boringly stoic. Tragic really as Rosario Dawson's a really good actress. Also scripts for this always feel a bit lacking. There's just a lack of charm and charisma here. Guess Huyang was a nice addition though. My guess is they may pull the trigger and recast Baylon. Kind of surprised he and Shin didn't get unalived in the end. I can't tell if this will get a second series. I know Mando is getting another series, so maybe this will to set the stage more for Dave's movie. Seriously though, just recast Leia and Luke now. I'm a big boy now, I can take it lol Just feels wrong to have something major like Heir to the Empire happening and not having the big names involved here. I guess it wasn't awful, but really I think this should've been edited down into a film. Probably would've worked better. It would at least solve the paving issues at play here. I think they have to recast Baylon. I’m pretty sure he’s the key to them all getting home. To me it seems clear he’s trying to access the World Between Worlds, or maybe even Mortis itself or something. I’d imagine that’s how Ahsoka is gonna get home and it’s why they didn’t use that for her to get there.

I saw some cool fan casts of Graham Mctavish for Baylon though and I think that could work. Ray Stevenson was amazing, but Graham is a good actor and is starting to be in a lot of prominent shows. He was in Witcher and House of the Dragon. Also he was Dwain in The Hobbit

What’s the next show anyway? Bad Batch season 3 and then Andor part 2 I’d imagine?

What’s the next show anyway? Bad Batch season 3 and then Andor part 2 I’d imagine? They keep delaying and moving stuff around but I think the next in line are Bad Batch, Andor, Skeleton Crew, and Acolyte but not sure which order they will be in. Maybe Bad Batch first just because animation doesn't seem to have as much drama around it

I hope it picks back up, it definitely felt more sublime than previous seasons. I think it's hard for a lot a people to keep that pace, I feel like most things just get worse over time. It might be the initial hype having a factor, or just a really good start to the series. I hope they wrap up the show before a bigger quality dip. I'm still conflicted on Grogu being back, I really felt like that took a lot of significance out of the show. The entire beginning was helping him find his people, the jedi. I'm hoping they at least explore grogu's species roots more, maybe find the planet of Yoda's species on a force compelled quest. Either way, I was hoping if Grogu came back it would tie into the show much later on.

I think Season 4 could be the last Mando season tbh, Pascal doesn’t seem all that invested in the role anymore, but I’m sure he’d be more then fine to come back for cameos on other shows and the Movie. It’s hard to make a story around a guy that’s basically just a freelancer. And all the factions in the galaxy are totally incompetent and won’t offer him any interesting work.
