Episodes 1-3 were decent, episode 4 was probably my favourite “Boba” episode and I actually really like Fennec now. She’s a pretty cool character. Just not so much in Bad Batch when she somehow goes toe to toe with mostly prime Bane. The finale was ok for what it was but I don’t like the Pykes too much.
Vanth was cool though, he’s probably my favorite character to come out of Mando other then Grogu and Fennec. But Jesus where is Bossk man? No idea if he’s on good terms with Boba these days but isn’t he the most obvious character?
Now for the “Mando” episodes… they were kind of awkward. I mean ngl they were good if this was The Mandalorian but in this show? Idk… I liked the plot lines with the Armorer and Paz. Some cool depth there and it sets up the dilemma for Season 3 if Din wants to follow their path or Bo Katans. The whole ship sequence is the more awkward part in episode 5 that wasn’t really needed in this show.
As for episode 6. Gotta admit the Luke CGI was really good but we might be done with him for now. Actually he will probably be in the Ahsoka show where we will hopefully see their first meeting. Ahsoka was fan service but given she was more there for Luke, I can live with it. Also the Ahsoka makeup looks a lot better now, very accurate to the animation I think.

Idk the real question is if Grogu being in Mando season 3 now is good, I kinda liked his ending in season 2 but honestly I guess when you have a 900 year life expectancy you can learn to be a Jedi whenever you want right? However it’s not like Mando is always going to be around… I understand his choice. I think in the old EU Yoda didn’t learn to become a Jedi until he was over a century old but I might be misremembering. Actually maybe that was Yaddle and Yoda found her when she was a couple centuries old. I just vaguely remember a comic about it.
I also think Luke sort of implied this when he mentioned Grogus short time being a life time for someone else. And it’s not like Luke is hung up on the gotta teach them when they are young thing. He didn’t learn until he was like 20

Overall the story was kinda weird… definitely a big turn of character for Boba. While it’s wasn’t awful I’m just not sure this was the best story to tell.
I am pretty excited for Ahsoka though, I just want to see Thrawn and hopefully it’s something like the books in a sense. At the very least we know Ahsoka won’t take place on Tatooine.

Get the feeling Luke never sees Grogu again but again I think Luke knows he can learn whenever he wants too, it’s no rush for him really.

It'd be dumb if this was their solution to not having Grogu get killed by Kylo. I knew Mando and Grogu would probably be reunited eventually but I think he really should've spent more time with Luke. Immediately bringing him back just undermines Mando season 2 like what was the point? Diminishes that emotional payoff in the finale too. Feel like the executives might've forced their hand because of how marketable Grogu is

I think Boba Fett season 1 has a lot of time that passes during it at some point cause the rancor seemed a lot bigger at the end

When it first appears, there's not much difference to how it looks in the last episode.

If they still want their iffy trilogy canon, then it's the only way Grogu can basically escape certain death. Your comment on his age though makes me ponder if there'll be some other story in the future where it's a big time jump and Grogu training Jedi. Would be a bold choice.
