Don't really like Greef's new outfit but regardless, hell yeah I think I'm legit excited. Praying for no sequel bullshit ruining it. Hopefully Favreau wrote all of it again, seems like no one else on their team, including Filoni, is as good, based on episodes 5 and 6. I am just so scared of being disappointed though... Lol. Like idk why it has been so difficult for them to make quality Star Wars content.. |

Looks pretty good seems like they got a budget increase which was expected. No red flags from the trailer as far as I could see but I guess it didn't show all that much. I was expecting a look at Ahsoka though

Kinda sounded like they had some Mongolian throat singing at the beginning similar to the song from Fallen Order lol
The shot with the scouts riding the speeders off the platform could be on Nevarro you can see some lava streams. Or they go to Sullust. I kinda thought they cleared out Nevarro though not sure what reason the Imperials would have to maintain a presence there. Along with that I assume the TIE landing pad as well as the Imperial complex are all on the same planet. It could be Nevarro tbh. Cara and Greef are still there and the EW promo pics had a shot of the trio in an imperial facility.
Wonder who the hooded woman is. Sabine?
But fr if they try to connect the First Order or something I will be beyond pissed. The FO is one of the worst parts of the sequels. Any sequel tie ins will be super disappointing. The thing is they literally don't have to do that it wouldn't enhance the story at all. In fact it would probably detract from it. If they shunned the prequels for their "controversy" it's not fair if the sequels don't get that same treatment

I think that woman was Sabine, but for all I know it's just some newbie Was really hoping for a Boba Fett stinger at the end, but maybe next time. But i only saw this being reported by one site which I don’t know how legitimate it really is... They also said he isn’t in the second half of the season lol. Really hope none of this is true. And I feel like Pedro should’ve known what he was signing up for. If he really does have a problem being in the uncomfortable costume or not getting to show his face, I feel like they could replace him though. Already half his scenes are done by two stunt guys. Just keep him on as a voice actor I’m sure he wouldn’t mind an easy paycheck Quite some behind the scenes drama reportedly though lol. Apparently Gina Carano is getting cancelled by the trans community on Twitter. Also apparently she is an anti masker 💀 |

He just pops into a recording booth and that's it Oh yeah, I read about that. Honestly people will get pretty fired up on the most minor stuff. I mean, you don't have to like it, but wanting someone fired or "cancelled" over minor stuff said or done is just some stupid levels of overreaction and authoritarianism. |

Although I wonder if the character will differ somewhat from when he appeared in the Aftermath novel |

I am so worried about this season I just need it to come out lol This is one of the reasons why I think so many jump the gun with saying Dave should be in charge. Just because the guy was good at tempering George's ideas doesn't mean he's the franchise's biggest hope. Ever since Lucas left the picture it's shown how he's not very good at going solo. Rebels was both rubbish and wasted potential, Resistance was... there and just feels like a bad footnote and his Mando material has been the weakest by far. The trouble is that his characters are just... not very good. And what's worse is he keeps wanting to use them over and over. If Resistance was actually important and he hadn't tried distancing himself from it, I'm sure some Rebels cast would be dropped in there. |

I've been watching Star Wars Theory's podcasts with Den of Nerds and they've been coming up with some really interesting theories
So a couple things they said: Mandalore is nearly inhabitable now, the Empire basically nuked it. In last episode Din says something like "Empire realized they couldn't control the planet so they decided no one else would ever" and in season 1, Paz Vizsla says the Empire shattered their world
Another thing, what if the entire remnant is hiding on Mandalore, or at least Gideon is? Gideon could perhaps even be Mandalorian himself. Perhaps even a Vizsla. So he's not just someone who stole the darksaber, he could actually have a stake in the claim to the throne. Moffs governed certain regions right? Mandalore could've fallen under Gideon's jurisdiction
I feel like they're starting to get deep into the lore now, something season 1 lacked. While I don't think we'll get to this level but imagine game of thrones like conflicts between different Mandalorian and Imperial factions. Tbh I feel like the remnant alone, Mandalorians aside, is the perfect opportunity for such storytelling. There's supposed to be a lot of infighting in this time period for who takes over the Emperor's position. I'd like to see more Moffs being introduced

Well anyway this is what I believe we have left
- Ahsoka, who will be in the next episode. I'm sure she'll have another mission for Mando. I don't think she's gonna be much help though. I don't see her taking baby off his hands. No chance baby will be written off the show given his popularity. Disney will keep milking him. She'll probably tell Mando he has to protect him
- Gideon tracks down Mando. This will either be at the end of the next episode, start of episode 6 or even episode 7. Depends if there is another filler after Ahsoka
- I think we're supposed to see Bill Burr's Mayfeld again (ugh). Could be a filler in between Ahsoka and Gideon or even Gideon and the finale
- Finale for sure has to be Ahsoka vs Gideon. Bo-Katan will be there as well. I don't think Gideon will die unless they give him some serious backstory in the next 4 episodes. He's not fleshed out enough yet.
- We might even see the Dark Troopers being deployed in the finale. If they do go the route of trying to create Force sensitive soldiers, Gideon might actually even succeed in capturing baby to finish the project. Then the finale is about rescuing him.
So that leaves Boba... Idk man. I'm holding out hope he returns. Maybe in the Mayfeld filler? They can't just not show him again... Who knows when his spin off is coming no way they wait until then. I think he must show up before the season ends. He could be a wild card in the finale. Maybe he sides with Gideon? They gotta do something with him. But if they don't, I think we might see Rex instead with Ahsoka. Would suck to waste Temuera
