Was just about to post this. Casting choice seems good tbh I think many people had her as their fan casting
But the more important thing is why the fuck is Ahsoka going to be on this show? I just knew this would happen I knew Dave would bring in his favorite OCs just like he did in Rebels. In the second season for both of them lol. I do not like this decision. Let the show stand on its own. Something like Boba Fett as a villain or a very small Luke cameo later on in the show's run is fine to me. But bringing in Ahsoka right off the bat after 8 episodes? Come on dude. Ahsoka did literally fuck all in Rebels besides her fan service Vader duel. She served zero purpose in that show. I can see her doing the same in Mando.
Mando continues to go the Rebels route in many regards and I don't like it. Too many people praising it as the "savior" of Star Wars or something. It's not that good and I can see it getting worse

A bit surprising but not crazy surprising I guess. I could be cool, if they decide to do something intelligent with the character.
Rosario as the casting choice seems alright to me.
But yeah I do hope Mandalorian doesn't turn into something similar to Rebels where it basically survives on appearances by characters from other popular shows.
As it is right now, I think it's a decent show, but like Kenbo said, it's not like the show to save Star Wars. It's solid but hardly something deserving of Emmy recognition for its writing lol.

I'm really excited to see what they do with Ahsoka. As long as they don't turn her into a series regular, I think it'll work great. I've been a fan of the Rosario casting since I first saw posts about it.
A tie in with The Child seems most likely, so it could play out really interesting.

If it's just a caravan of cameos, this weeks Ahsoka, next Rex and then Hondo, then it's a bit much. If Ahsoka and Rex appear together because they're hanging out together in that time, then that would be fine with me.

I think it was inevitable though I thought they would save him for season 3. Season 2 is going to be really packed then with Ahsoka, Boba, the baby Yoda shit. Hopefully it is more than 8 episodes. But who am I kidding it'll probably be 8 with 5 filler episodes all about Bill Burr and his clowns 🙃

Isn’t Morrison like twice Boba Fett’s age at the time though? Not sure that would work. Maybe Disney kinda forgot Boba didn’t have growth acceleration. Apparently reports are saying Fett will have an even larger role in season 3, which is weird to me in a way, since I thought him appearing would sort of act as a backdoor pilot for his own show |

Thrawn in live action will be cool, need the right actor though

So the sequel would skip to post-ROTJ and deal with the Ezra stuff?
I don't know if I care too much about that (I also don't really remember the finale that well, so what do I know), but I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more of Ahsoka, so if that would be in a Rebels sequel it might be worth it.
But such a show would have to deal with Luke at some point. Jedi or not, I'm not gonna buy Ahsoka and Ezra never get in touch with Luke after ROTJ. At that point no one that I know of would know more about the way the Jedi Order was built than Ahsoka (not counting Force-ghosts lol).
Heck, Ahsoka not bothering meeting Luke between ANH and ROTJ is hard enough to understand.

Just make the ST non-canon and get it over with.

With the Clone Wars revival they basically made an entire Ahsoka novel That was canon non-canon. Maybe we can hope for some escalation where they end up making both Rebels and the ST non-canon as well For real though, I was utterly rooting for that trilogy to give us Luke's Order. Seeing it literally burn away as well as Luke's character assassination killed a part of my inner Star Wars fan. |
