Extended edition needs Dain becoming kind and the Memorial. Also Balin visiting Bilbo like the book would be kinda cool.

Erebor is definitely a great set for an action scene. I bet if we hadn't gotten that scene, a lot of fans would be wondering what an action scene inside the mountain would've looked like. Now we know Erebor looked like it was built for a action scene involving a dragon and dwarves, but not in a good way. The battle made no sense and I don't think anyone who worked on the film understands how molten gold works... Thank you. I hated the molten gold scene. (loved Smaug, though.)

I honestly didn't like BOTFA. Too much CGI and the story was all over the place.
TUJ was the most enjoyable of the Hobbit movies for me.
All of the Lord of the Ring movies were better than the Hobbit saga, but I don't really think that the two sagas should really be compared.

Well I was thinking of the movies since I never read the LOTR books For TTT? I was referring to the movie for that post I made, not the book. Otherwise there would've been even more to tell about it.

This video's really interesting and gives some clarification for why The Hobbit films were a bit messy:
I sort of feel bad for Peter Jackson because it seems like he was really stressed trying to get all this done. And then so many people ridiculed him after these movies came out. It's a shame, if they were just given more prep time and if they didn't rush this then maybe The Hobbit movies could have been better.

I still really like The Hobbit movies though. An Unexpected Journey is my favorite and I think that was an excellent film. Desolation of Smaug was not as good, but still pretty good, and Battle of the Five Armies was definitely the one with the most problems.
