Never really bothered with trying to be a mod before because I thought it's too much work but this sub is kinda small and the one mod it had asked if I could help and I thought why not. Unfortunately I was one of two he added and the second guy is an absolute jackass who I can't stand.... He's one of those toxic sequel fans who thinks all haters are sexist/racist manbabies and thinks things like Luke is a Mary Sue like bruh

When I found out he was joining I initially thought about declining the invite because I think it's important the mod team should be able to get along. But then I thought maybe if I come on board I can balance out his jackassery and sequel related opinions and represent the other side of the Star Wars fan spectrum... lol

It's crazy that we're approaching the one year mark. I remember that March-April felt like an eternity, but the rest of the year flew by for me.

I wrote a paper about Corona on like the 20th of January and I said I think people should be cautious. I think that was the understatement of the century.

So for a few weeks I’ve slowly been working on writing a tv series as a personal project and I finally finished a draft of the first episode and it feels kinda good lol.

It's basically a space adventure heavily influenced by Star Wars because I can't help it... I call it Cosmic Safari . Not sure if I love the name though might change it to something different lol. But instead of a war as a backdrop it's more about colonization and exploration. I realized the premise is incredibly common but still I guess it's fun trying to do my own world building

Bruh the stuff about Armie Hammer is so wild dude is like Hannibal meets 50 shades of gray.... Lmao. Man from UNCLE is actually one of my favorite movies ever and already a sequel was looking unlikely but now it will never happen at least not with the same cast :\

Different women have been exposing his extremely disturbing fetishes which seem to involve different types of physical harm. Idk if everything is real but there's screenshots of dm convos with him talking about being a cannibal and having eaten an animal heart and stuff. He also wanted one of his girls to remove her ribs so he could eat them... 💀 I thought Armie was kind of a cool guy but this sucks lol. But it's also really fascinating to me because you don't really hear about people in modern society being cannibals

Well, eating a animal heart isn't really cannibalism... In fact I don't see how that is much different from eating any other part of an animal. But how do you even eat a rib? Are they even edible? I don't know who this guy is though...

I watched Ben Shapiro's podcast with Gina and while I think Ben is a clown, she gave some interesting insights on her situation. I guess it's hard to tell what celebrities are truly like based on their interviews I mean going back to Armie he came across super charismatic while in reality being a total psycho lol... But my impression is Gina is a genuine person. Apparently she was not politically inclined at all until recently which may factor into some of her ignorance. But honestly it seemed like she was targeted for no reason except very possibly her political beliefs. Pretty much everything she said was misinterpreted. Maybe she could've been more eloquent or even kept her mouth shut but regardless of what she said or posted, she never held any ill will or hate towards anyone.

Yet Disney/Lucasfilm totally hounded her. She was forced into a zoom call with a bunch of LGBT people, half of who were trying to cancel her, to I guess get some sensitivity training or something. She was also pressured into making statements she didn't want to because they would not have been genuine. And apparently she found out she had been fired the same way everyone else did through the news and social media which is wild. From what she says I don't think DLF's HR people really handled this well nor were they very sympathetic. Because she didn't play the game or follow the narrative, she was targeted even though people on the other side do similar stuff and don't get the same treatment.

They are completely scrubbing Cara Dune too, her toys were cancelled and her image is being erased from a lot of other stuff and I think that is extreme. First, separate the character from the actor, second what she did was not even that bad in the big picture it's not like she raped or murdered someone or anything remotely illegal.... Stuff like that is more worthy of getting dropped. But she knew what was going to happen and decided to stand up for herself and others faced with similar situations and for that I have to respect her. I think Gina is overall a good person who didn't deserve this and a I feel that a lot of factors were not very fair towards her.
