My mind says wait another couple years I think even without covid they would've stepped back from movies for a bit. Think they might be focusing on tv shows now. Which I'm happy with I prefer them anyway but if you own the Star Wars ip, you need to be making Star Wars movies... I'd like them to do more anthology stuff I think those work great but unfortunately since Solo flopped, they probably won't return to that... Maybe they'll do something for High Republic once it gets going. They should anyway, HR just being books would be lame imo

Maybe if it gets good sales we'll hear a peep about it. They say Star Wars films will take turns releasing in the same month as Avatar movies, but at the moment they don't seem to have any projects that'll see that come true

Perhaps he's been busy with college? Hmm, my guess is it has something to do with his last post. Oh I didn't realize he left after that stuff. Idk I think we can get a little heated sometimes especially on subjects like politics but at the end of the day we are still boys right at least I think so lol...

Weird week of mixed feelings... went to pickup my History degree in a corona-proof way (which was kind of strange). And my parents are getting a divorce...

I'm sorry to hear that about your parents I've had some friends go through it, and it's a tough time. Hopefully any friends near you can offer support; I know those of us here will be thinking of you. On a happier note, that's awesome about obtaining your History degree!!

That can't be easy to deal with. How're you holding up currently? Star's right though, we'll be thinking of you. Congratulations though on the degree! You must feel a weight's been lifted with that. Do you plan on using it to teach history?

It sucks, but at least I am old enough to more easily deal with it. I could see it coming, and perhaps in the end its for the best. I think the main problem is my mother hasn't had a job in a very long time, so there will be financial issues... Also, it started off kind of rough but now my parents seem to get along well enough. If they do not end up hating each other it is a lot more bearable. And not really my friends, but my girlfriend has been carrying me through this. She doesn't live near me, but she got on the train as soon as she heard things were escalating at my home. So that helps. And thanks for you concern!

Do you plan on using it to teach history? Well, I am doing better now. It has been kind of shitty for the past 2-3 weeks when things were inevitably heading in this direction. My mother stayed with my grandmother for two weeks and my parents wouldn't really talk to each other. Now my mother moved back in and my parents talk and even joke together, but as soon as it is financially feasible they will get a divorce and my mother will move out. It sucks, but if they keep talking to each other after this it is not as bad as it seemed at first... Thanks. I basically finished my degree 1,5 year ago though, only got to pick it up now because of some stupid bureaucratic rules that force you to delay your degree in order to do a second study. I cannot teach history with it though, you need a separate degree for that. But I still have to study for at least 3 years, so who knows, maybe I will pickup a teaching degree along the way.

Well at least this sort of thing is on good terms. My cousin's parents got a divorce when I was a kid and it was not one on good terms at all. I just hope it goes smoothly for you. I can understand this hasn't been stress free for you Wow, that's a lot harder to get a degree or use one to teach than it is here in the UK Then again, our education quality is always talked about as poorer compared to almost everywhere else in Europe. Do the Dutch just spend half their lives studying?

I have also seen a lot of gameplay from that game. I never really played any of the games here or back on starwars.com I think I tried once. Didn’t go so well.
Anyway hope you all are doing well.

It does always warm my heart a bit to see this place still chugging along. Actually what you said made me get all nostalgic about when we were all on SW.com. Reminded me of all the people and friends we had who drifted away. It's a shame, since so many of them were great, fun people. I know this sort of thing happens with online communities - getting smaller and smaller over the years, but boy I'd give to do that all over again...

Wow, that's a lot harder to get a degree or use one to teach than it is here in the UK Then again, our education quality is always talked about as poorer compared to almost everywhere else in Europe. Do the Dutch just spend half their lives studying? I doubt it is much harder to get a teaching degree here. We have different levels of study. I did the highest level (university) which is generally aimed at research. They don't teach you hwo to teach at university. At least not in the standard programme. I can do a shorter course (half a year to a year) to get the teaching capabilities though, since I already have the knowledge of the subject (history that is). But there are studies at the second highest level which specifically give you a degree valid for teaching history once you finish it. Also, studying a long time is kind of discourage these days. Most people only study for 4-5 years. It used to be more but the government made things a lot more expensive and much more inconvenient. For me it has been mostly free though because I did not get a room, got five years of public transport from the government (which expires in two months unfortunately) and my grandparents offered to pay other expenses. So I could afford to keep studying a bit longer. The problem is that if (since the new rules were introduced) you start a second study after finishing your first you have to pay 16k in tuition per year as opposed to the regular 2k. I found out about that too late (most people didn't seem to know about it as it was new) so I had to drag out my history study for 1,5 year to have the proper overlap. Kind of stupid...

In all fairness though, "Werewolves" has been around for quite a while. Potato did not make it up from scratch.

But honestly, the activity has been pretty consistent over the last 1-2 years. A shade of what it once was, but still moderately active. Only Spider leaving seems to have made things slow down a bit more, but who knows, maybe he will be back...

Well that's great it's been so cost effective for you! Certainly sounds better than over here where you just get swamped with student loans Yikes, that's one mega price hike. Feel like they'd deliberately keep that kind of cost hidden.
