Watched the new Transformers animated thing on Netflix. It was okay. Kinda tried too hard to be dark and edgy I think. Or at least all the dialogue and character actions made it come across that way. It was really rushed though. There were a lot of cool old lore elements that were barely explored because it's only six episodes. They have two more seasons planned but if they're the same length, it'll probably have the same issues again. Would've rather just had one 18 episode first season to give more time to tell the story. And then renew if people like it
It really made me miss the old War for Cybertron games though. I absolutely love the first one, one of my all time favorite games. The Siege show is nowhere near it. Made me nostalgic about the 80s G1 cartoon as well. Probably one of the best cartoons to ever be made. Might try to get a box set sometime soon of that. My interest in transformers was kind of suddenly sparked again lol

I gave tinder a weak try for a bit without much success. To be fair my profile was pretty bad so I might like to see how improving it might help but yeah I think a lot of people just aren't serious about it or don't want to put any effort in actually taking things somewhere. Plus it's basically just a hookup hot spot Stuff like OKCupid and Bumble are better, but the latter hasn't seen me any matches in a month. I hate when I fall into the trap of watching these fanmade edits or trailers of Star Wars that make the movies look even cooler than they really are. |

I thought Obama was an awful and corrupt President, but I would never wish him bad health. Meh, I kind of agree with that. Don't get me wrong, I don't want him to die of the virus, I don't wish death on anyone. But it would probably be for the best if he got it and experienced some serious symptoms. Perhaps then he would start taking this thing seriously, and it could end up saving a few lives. It worked for Boris Johnson... Not for Bolsonaro unfortunately because his symptoms were mild (there are claims he faked having to virus, just to proof it wasn't a big deal though). But yeah, led him experience this stuff himself. Honestly I’m semi convinced that Trump and Pence have already received a prototype vaccine, the amount of times those two have been in proximity with known cases is too high for them not to have had it. |

Been kind of in a western mood lately. I watched The Good the Bad and Ugly for the first time yesterday... It's awesome it was just a lot of fun watching it. I wish Netflix had the whole trilogy but unfortunately it's just this one. Amazon has the second one so I may watch that later but not the first.
Then I saw Hateful 8 today which was also pretty fun. But I was surprised to find a lot of people dislike it. I think every Tarantino movie I've seen has been really enjoyable and entertaining. Guy's a great filmmaker

Last year we got 13 (and that's only at the center of the Netherlands, it's worse here in the south). Now we are getting 10 in a row. It's getting ridiculous... |

Well, we saw it coming a mile off, but it's official, we're in another recession. And to be honest I can easily see this becoming a depression. There's an expected mass extinction of job by around October, so I'm fully expecting it to get so much economically worse than now.

It’s cold here, people I work with turn on their heat every morning. Goddammit. The last 2 weeks here were hell. Though, to be fair, you do get used to it. Like I used to physically feel sick whenever temperatures got over 25 Celsius for a few day. Now they have been over 30 for almost 2 weeks and I handled it significantly better. (I still hate it) The last few summers prepared me for this I guess. Though the nights are still terrible... I do not fall asleep easily as it is, but the heat makes everything so much worse. Looks like we are nearing the end of this summer though. |
