Yeah I only get 6 inch but these are kinda tempting lol. There's going to be a single packed Fives later which I'd be more likely to get because it'll be much cheaper but even then I probably won't. Trying to stick with characters I really really like

Thought this was kinda cool I printed some Republic supplies all roughly 1/12 scale. The small footlockers I actually got from Etsy before I had a printer but I still had to paint them. The clone helmets are actually a pretty fun challenge to paint at this scale The DC-15 is kinda hard to see but I think it turned out surprisingly decent. I think I can give it to my Rex figure since he doesn't come with one

Yeah I saw that... I also only really collect the 6 inch ones. But I might pick these up. There’s a Clone Wars Anakin and Kenobi this year as well. Plus a Wolfe. Would be a cool little display. The 3.75 inch ones aren’t that expensive tbh and sometimes get discounted.

Kind of in a dilemma. I'm gonna end up with over $2k at the end of my internship not sure if I want to save the bulk of it or splurge on guitar stuff lol. I've been meaning to replace my acoustic for a while because it's a pos but then my amp broke so that seems like more of a priority now. Sadly I believe my amp is not worth getting repaired because it's too difficult and expensive to repair (in layman's terms) digital amps which is what I have vs older style analog ones. So idk if I want to shell out on the more analog gear I've always wanted (which is more expensive with less features...) when I'm not even that good to probably get the most use out of it...
But also is it even worth it to save a grand or two I mean if you think about it that's not really that much money in the bigger scheme of things. And it's not like I need a lot of money since I'm still mostly dependent on my parents.. idk

I need to stop splurging. I didn't know anything about fragrances a month a go and now I have twelve of them. Not including like sixteen samples. I need help.

Mannnn there's like 4 grand of stuff I really feel like I need even though I need absolutely none of it. I will probably still splurge through most of what I make this summer though... it's very very hard to control these urges

coronavirus.dc.gov/maskorderListen here America, you have to wear a mask under penalty of a $1,000 fine. Unless of course, you're a government employee. But don't worry, they exempted themselves.

Attempted arson is not a peaceful protest.
Physically attacking law enforcement is not freedom of speech.
Destruction of property is not peaceful assembly.

So the rioters and the destruction in places like Portland are just a myth? Good to know.
Brought to you by the same smug idiots who told you for years that RUSSIA controls the administration.

This is the problem with protests these days. It all just devolves into rioting, pillaging and general anarchy that doesn't even get what they're "protesting" for.

Is it that hard for the Democratic lawmakers to say that we shouldn’t burn down federal court houses?
They get angry at us for being angry at the rioters. They say “well the majority of protesters are not violent.”
Who the hell cares? The majority of a group does not need to be dangerous for there to be a problem and a need to take action.

Politicians who spend so much time lecturing us about PEACE, FREEDOM, JUSTICE, and SECURITY never seem to have any of it in the places they run.

One of the top posts on Reddit right now is expressing how great it would be for Trump to get the coronavirus. “Redemption arc for 2020” is the wording.
I thought Obama was an awful and corrupt President, but I would never wish him bad health.

I thought Obama was an awful and corrupt President, but I would never wish him bad health. Meh, I kind of agree with that. Don't get me wrong, I don't want him to die of the virus, I don't wish death on anyone. But it would probably be for the best if he got it and experienced some serious symptoms. Perhaps then he would start taking this thing seriously, and it could end up saving a few lives. It worked for Boris Johnson... Not for Bolsonaro unfortunately because his symptoms were mild (there are claims he faked having to virus, just to proof it wasn't a big deal though). But yeah, led him experience this stuff himself.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-53597975Or maybe you guys should want him to die, because this looks like authoritarianism to me... I have been predicting an attempted coup in the US for a while... guess we are getting there sooner than I expected...

I am truly sorry if I have ever expressed a sentiment that in any way resembles that.
This is the destination of pure partisan hatred. I'm not gonna go into how ridiculous I find that particular justification for wishing death on a political opponent, because honestly it doesn't matter. You can say he's a failure and you can say he's not the leader of the free world. I'll disagree with everything I have but you can say that. But wishing death on a political figure is a bridge too far. I hate it when I see it applied to the Supreme Court, I hate it when I see it against people I strongly disagree with like Angela Davis, and I hate it when I see it like this. It's so prevalent and it's so sick.
This is the language we get to when we aren't able to exist as a society anymore. And I've never had less faith in our society than I do at this moment.
I’m just so tired.

I have been predicting an attempted coup in the US for a while... guess we are getting there sooner than I expected... ... Wasn't too serious, just because I read this immediately after my last post. But this seems like an attempt to undermine American democracy (though I guess the US isn't exactly a beacon of democracy anymore anyway). I am not saying it is a decision that's relevant now... But if you had to pick between a Trump dying or American democracy dying? What would you pick?

I’m just so tired. If you are talking about what I said I don't think 'partisan hatred' applies. Partisan is an American political concept, we have more than two options here. And I am in no way associated with the Democratic Party. They are way too far to the right for my taste. But let's look at it this way: Would it be wrong to wish death on Putin or Kim-Jong Un? What about Hitler? I know those are all quite a it worse than Trump... but the things he does are also dangerous and could cause lasting damage to the planet, American hegemony and the free world in its entirety. The US is in decline, and Trump seems determined to put the final nails in the coffin. In the absence of another democratic power of equal size (like a European Federation) that means Russia and China will be running the show. Something I am not too eager about. So I would much rather not see the US succumb to chaos and authoritarianism, with a man at the helm that admires dictators like Putin. So at what point would it be okay to wish death upon him? (Which I still won't do, but I equally wouldn't mind if he died either). Before or after he disassembles the free world? Because that is what trying to postpone elections can lead to.
