Yeah honestly leave Palpatine out Finally Kanan cuts that gay ass pony tail off... Could've just untied it though Palpatine deserves one cameo imo, depends on what his interests are in but Palpatine is active in the senate at this time trying to rid it of Rebel sympathizers, this we know from ANH and the books in between ROTS and ANH. Well alright but he shouldn't be concerned with Ezra..

Well alright but he shouldn't be concerned with Ezra.. That depends on what Palpatines interests are, he was slightly concerned with Ahsoka since he thought she could lead them back to other Jedi like Kenobi... well it's unlikely Ahsoka has seen Kenobi post ROTS, and Ezra actually has. But Palpatine is probably concerned with the force influence on Lothal, I doubt he cares about Ezra specifically

That's an interesting point, MAYBE Palpatine isn't actually there and he's just tempting Ezra from Coruscant like with Yoda in TCW. I guess Palpatine gets bored on Coruscant after awhile and needs something to do...

Also the odds of Thrawn dying are very low Star , the Thrawn book from last year ends right before Rebels season 3 and there's a new book coming this summer that's supposed to take place later it seems. Also DF said Thrawn wouldn't die in Rebels season 4 apparently

It would be nice to have him in an upcoming film or series.

MORTIS! They better not defile another great TCW story. Why are you even still on this thread if you just keep being negative about it?

I just saw an interesting theory that Palpatine needs Ezra to open something in the Jedi temple on Lothal. Palpatine will pose as a lost Jedi master or something and trick Ezra similar to Maul...
Would make sense, Palpatine can not access things locked behind the light side of the force similar to how Maul could not unlock the Jedi holocron and needed Ezra to do it. Maul also needed Ezra to unlock the doors in the temple with him, while that wasn't attuned to light or dark it did need 2 people. So it is a reoccurring theme that someone is needed/ forced/ tricked into helping access things that one can not

The reasons might make sense but Ezra sucks too much for him to even acknowledge his existence...... lol
Although I feel like he'd know what the Emperor looks like, Newan

Somehow no one makes the connection between Sidious and Palpatine when he has the hood up and I'm pretty sure the emperor doesn't make too many public appearances at the time of Rebels

Though I guess it could seem like anyone if you don't pay attention to his mouth/chin area

Kanan is now defenitely one of my favorite Star Wars characters. Too bad to see him go but they did it perfectly. Of the Ghost crew i did expect him to go first

They killed Kanan?

Kanans death was the saddest thing since Fives death. I knew he was going to die early in the second part of the season but they did it really well and "Jedi Night" might be my favorite episode of the show now.
DUME was mainly just setting up for the rest of the season but now we know why Palpatine will be in the show since the Jedi Temple on Lothal obviously has some powerful artifacts or something, we know it has some relation to Mortis.
Anyways 5 episodes left, 2 next week. And then 3 the following week although the finale is like one of those 2 parter kind.

Some people think the tablet symbolizes the ones.
The Fist = Son Open Hand = Daughter Last Hand = Father

Way better than Jedi Grandmaster Lukes death.... I will admit. Rebels may be better than TLJ... and that says a lot about TLJ.

I was going to say Jedi Night was a surprisingly good episode until they killed Kanan... I thought he would die in Dume..
But yeah his death was really lame... And why'd they wait until 10 seconds before he died to start his and Hera's romance thing
Yeah his death was REALLY fucking lame actually could've been completely avoided if they all jumped in the ship and Sabine flew away. Or use the flames to fly away faster or something. He didn't need to stop the flames it accomplished nothing. Would've rather he been killed in a blaze of glory like Baze or Chirrut

Dume... Okay I guess it did what it needed to do
But why would a Jedi "temple" on a backwater planet like Lothal matter in the slightest

Kanan's death was well-done. But the romance with Hera and him was a little cheesy, since they bottled up most of the chemistry until right before he died. I realize this season has been highlighting their feelings more than past seasons and this show's target audience is younger, but still. I also feel like Kanan could have avoided his death and the rebels could've gotten away or at least crash landed somewhere. Regardless though, I still liked how his death was handled symbolically, and it fits his character.
I'm still hoping Ezra dies or at least has some sort of closure that ties in well with the rest of the saga. The fate of the rest is pretty insignificant, although I wouldn't mind Sabine dying...

Those were both really good, honestly the second half of this season has been some of the best animated Star Wars content yet. I liked the emperors role as well in the last two episodes and seeing Ahsoka again was good. World Between Worlds was pretty nostalgic with all the voices, I think DF is really giving his own Swan Song now for both TCW and Rebels in these episodes.
