I thought the first two episodes of this season were very good. They kind of gave me a Clone Wars vibe for some reason. Maybe it was because it seemed like a "mission" similar to the ones Anakin, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan conducted. The plot was pretty solid, and I do think it worked well into the overarching Mandalore story. It was disappointing Sabine's mother and brother didn't die, since that would given the episode a larger impact. The new Saxon leader was neat as well as the return of Bo-Katan. Yeah I think her mother or brother should have died. I don’t know if both should have though. But it was an interesting episode and so far it’s basically the only episodes this season not really related to Lothal I've almost caught up to the mid-point of season 4. I think that it is kind of neat how they are bringing it all back to Lothal, since that's how the show originated. This concept could be even more emotionally powerful if some of the major characters, especially Kanan/Ezra, die this season due to events at Lothal. The episodes all serve a stronger purpose too, versus some of the ones in season 1 that were not super important (particularly Fighter Flight). I really liked the Krennic reference in the Saw arc though, and also how Saw looks more like his Rogue One portrayal. Rebels is definitely tying into Rogue One and ANH in various ways, which is very cool.

Not sure how far into season 4 you are yet but I think Kanan will certainly die this season, it's looking that way at least. But yeah I like how much this ties into ANH and Rouge One... though it's a shame we never got to see Boba Fett. But tbh I was never expecting to see Thrawn when the show started so that makes up for it

How long is this thing going on for? Lol, I stopped watching in S2, is it good? This should be the last season. And it's probably not good.

Not sure if that's confirmed, I tried looking it up and couldn't find any solid sources sayings it's coming back in May. I did find a DF article of an interview where he was talking about the finale a few days ago, so if it was really all the way in May not sure why he would be talking about it now

The only reason I could see them wanting to release in May is to line it up with the Han movie (similar to the Saw arc in Rebels? Relating to Rouge One)... but the Han movie should take place long before Rebels season 4...
There's also a new Thrawn book being released in May or June but I can't imagine that's the reason, the New Thrawn book seems to be about him and Vader, and Vader hasn't had a prominent role on the show

Well I guess there's 2 possibilities...
A) Han and Chewie make a cameo appearance on Rebels, smuggling weapons or something for the Ghost Crew and maybe the mission goes bad and it would explain Hans reluctance to help in ANH, though it seems kinda too close and they likely would have to have no contact with the Jedi for storyline continuity.
B) Vader comes back in the finale with Thrawn and references background stuff or something that ties into the new book.
Otherwise I see no reason to release in May

If you just search Star Wars Rebels season 4 in Google it gives you that little box with the episodes and the next three all say May 16
But i don't think they'd put out 3 episodes on the same day so idk

I typed that in Google, and it showed the upcoming episodes but only "2018" for their release.

starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars_Rebels_Season_FourThe next 4 names are revealed and each of the next 4 have descriptions, one is titled Dume and has "devastating loss" Kanan death possibly? Seems like the Jedi temple will be back as well, and more Force stuff so maybe Vader?

And they got Ian back to do it. There's one positive I guess... That said, I can't help but think Ezra would be so off Palpatine's radar, that he'd almost consider letting loose upon the galaxy because he's such a 75% off, bargain bucket, Luke Skywalker. That also said, he might well be the one to kill off Ezra, so dragging him into this wouldn't be a complete loss

Looks almost certain Kanan will die. The only character that is up in the air is Ezra (and maybe Sabine), since the rest don't impact the galaxy too much. I'd like for Ezra to die (at the hands of Sidious or Vader), but not sure Disney would do that in a show like this.

But I feel like it is out of character for Palpatine to actually care about some force sensitive rebel kid. He is so powerful he could probably instantly kill Ezra if he wanted to. But these kind of matters are beneath him. He only does important stuff himself. Like in TCW we only really see him deal with Maul face-to-face, because he consider Maul and Savage credible threats that require his personal attention. But Ezra? Nah. And I doubt he considers Ezra apprentice-material.

10. "Jedi Night" 11 "DUME" 12 "Wolves and a Door" 13 "A World Between Worlds" 14 "A Fool's Hope" 15–16. "Family Reunion – and Farewell Got names for all the episodes now, I guess 12 and 13 will be force/ Mortis related, maybe the Sith are trying to access Mortis? Of course Anakin has been there... But they are still doing 2 episodes per week when it returns, actually says 3 total episodes on March 5th starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars_Rebels_Season_Four

And this just backs up my Boba Fett point... having Sidious appear on screen now in Rebels but no Boba, Disney has something planned for him, not one appearance (or even mention) in 4 years despite so many big cameos and regulars.
Lando Maul Rex Ahsoka Vader Tarkin Thrawn Sidious Hondo Mon Mothma Bail Organa R2-D2 C-3PO Leia Wedge Yoda Cham Syndulla Saw Obi-Wan Bo-Katan Wolfe and Gregor Krennic and Jabba (directly mentioned)

Kinda doubt it, things get destroyed and grow all the time there and the Wolves of Rebels seem very Mortis like

It feels too uncharacteristic for Sidious to actually care enough personally about Ezra to go out to search for solely him.

Palpatine has an interest, perhaps even an obsession in anything foreign/ unknown. If word got back to him of the Wolves and their abilities in the force, he would take a personal interest

Yeah honestly leave Palpatine out Finally Kanan cuts that gay ass pony tail off... Could've just untied it though Palpatine deserves one cameo imo, depends on what his interests are in but Palpatine is active in the senate at this time trying to rid it of Rebel sympathizers, this we know from ANH and the books in between ROTS and ANH.
