Warrior from Team Instinct who is in the game changer program said we should expect 2-4 legendary style of events for the rest of this year with characters as impactful as Thrawn, CLS, JTR and BB8.
I’m guessing Old Republic for Revan is practically a given, Hunters for Jango probably as well. Only other things released this year were scoundrels really... so idk I guess Beckett or Dryden Vos or outside possibility at Maul

Looks like I am getting a new phone... That means I can run Galaxy of Heroes on my phone again, because my current phone's memory constantly seemed to shrink and I could not fit the app on it anymore. The new one will have 4 times the memory though, so that should be better. Also, hopefully I can run RS Mobile on it too whenever that comes out. I doubt my Samsung Galaxy 4 could handle that.

New Mod Battles have good drops for mod slicing, and the new weekly store is very helpful

What makes mods good?

They increase your characters' stats. So if you have for example someone like Emperor Palpatine, who needs to land his stuns, you could mod him for extra Potency (which increases the chances he has to apply the stuns). Overall the most important stat is Speed though. If your characters are faster than your opponent's then you're going to be taking more turns and likely end up winning. So mods are basically the way to customize your characters and improve their stats.

I don't know if you've unlocked mods or not yet Pinda, but when you can put your best mods on your arena team. Your main goal should be to get all of the arrow mods (the ones in the top right corner) to +30 Speed on your arena team.

I'd farm Speed, Critical Damage, and Critical Chance mainly. Offense can be pretty good too. Tenacity and Defense used to be pretty pointless, but I don't know how they are now. But the secondary stats are usually more important, so as long as you have high speed (like +10 ideally) then the mod could still be pretty good for whoever you put it on.

Actually with the buffs to mod sets and the way 6 dot mods work after slicing. Offense is generally better for most characters unless the character in question has a very high base critical chance then at that point a critical damage set is more beneficial.
But for characters that utilize special damage then you will almost always want Offense set mods for characters like Palpatine, Thrawn, Krennic, Nihilus, Traya, Yoda, etc. Critical Damage is usually only beneficial on physical damage characters but physical crit chance is almost always 20% higher then special critical chance even for characters that utilize special damage.
Of course speed set mods are always good as well but they are only beneficial when you have good speed secondaries as well otherwise you won’t get too much of a boost from the set bonus.
They updated most of the weaker stats like potency, defense, tenacity, health from mods to be much better but kept Protection, Speed and critical damage relatively unchanged. Although speed secondaries always wins out unless it’s a very specific character

I sliced a +15 Speed mod on my Talzin from Purple to Gold and it got to +20 Speed. I think my highest secondary before was only +16. But it's going to take a while to update my entire arena team...

Yeah one of my Bossk mods got +4 when I sliced it, not Bossk has +107 speed which is my highest I think. I can almost slice a mod to 6 dot though, not sure which primary to use it on

Guess I will stick to the recommended mods for now.
Also, I just figured out you can retreat from Galactic War Battles to retry them, that helps a lot because yesterday I lost my main team on the second node.
My goal now is to get Phoenix squad to 7 stars and unlock Thrawn. Then use Thrawn (with Palpatine, Vader, Tarkin and Royal Guard) to unlock R2 and then use R2 to unlock Commander Luke. Is there a schedule for the events or do they just happen randomly?

Mine is really fast too for some reason but I haven't consciously tried to make him super fast. I guess him constantly regaining taunt and taking all those turns with Frenzy makes a higher speed better for him compared to most tanks.

They should be every other month or so at this point, so I think Commander Luke at least is some time this month.

So I've been running Nightsisters in arena for a while now, but I think I'm going to switch at some point in the near future. They actually do really well against Bastila, Commander Luke, and Jedi Training Rey teams, but they get decimated by Palpatine and Traya teams. I don't really want to run a meta team though... so right now I'm leaning towards Bounty Hunters. Maybe I'll wait until Embo goes free to play. I'm also kind of interested in a Qi'ra lead with Nest, Vandor Chewbacca, and some others (ideally Wampa because he's one of my favorite characters in the game).

Well you could try the kind of misfit team of Rex (Lead), Talzin, Wampa, General Kenobi, and then the 5th option can be Thrawn, Nest or Nihilus. But that team works pretty well, I don’t see it much anymore cause Traya teams are kind of the thing now but it can work

Guess I will have to go for November then. You will want some of your Phoenix above gear 8 though,.. if you try to do the last tier of Aritist of War with a gear 8 squad... Thrawn will wreck you.

Well... November 2019 then... Because I have not managed to get any of my characters to gear 9. I tried with Lando but he needs gear from raids, which I cannot get.

You can buy raid gear with guild coins too

So I am not really in a guild, last time I got moved to another guild before the raid finished (even though I was the top contributor). And I need to do the quest to unlock certain content I think. Also, do low tier raids even have decent rewards?

It is doable with Gear 8 (I did it with that), but it's really freaking difficult... I think it took me 30+ tries. And at one point I temporarily moved my arena team mods over to my Phoenix team. If you make them as fast as possible and max out their abilities (other than Zetas), then you could do it, but it's going to take a lot of attempts.

It kind of sucks though because Phoenix squad is actually really good (regardless of what you think of Rebels). They're one of the worst teams in the game to gear though. I've had Thrawn at 7 stars for about a year now and I think the only progress I've made on Phoenix is taking Ezra to gear 10.
