Honestly i don't even get the love for the first Ghostbusters film. I thought it was slow and boring. Not bad, but extremely underwhelming.

I don't have a lot of hope for this one either but atleast i can say i don't have high expectations for this series overall

Never watched the originals honestly don't really care lol..

About the whole women thing well like if it's a reboot, it should still be like the original... If they wanted an all female cast, they should've made a separate new thing

Most of the love comes from humor and the charisma of the leads. The story itself admittedly is kinda slow.

Yeah that i didn't get. Didn't laugh at all and thought the acting was kinda annoying at times. I geuss it just isn't the franchise for me

As much as I found the original pretty funny (because Bill Murray), I don't consider it a perfect masterpiece (I can think of two other Murray vehicles that I find superior), but I still don't like the idea of remaking it. As much as it is good to see more women getting the spotlight, this just looks like an unfunny cashgrab from a popular franchise. Proof that Sony really didn't learn their lesson from Amazing Spider-Man. Because god forbid we have an original blockbuster attempt that can be a breath of fresh air.

I would be okay with it if they just changed it a little more and didn't call it Ghostbusters.
