I’m really curious with how Thrawn will be portrayed in the sequel era. My guess is he’s basically going to be vital in developing the fledging First Order, possibly with the help of his people in deep space. I get the feeling we will only see him briefly in the first season of Ahsoka though, probably just a set up cameo at the end. I'd be shocked if his role isn't related to developing the First Order as a successor state to the Empire. Not really sure what else they'd have him do, and I don't think Disney wants to deviate his character from that realm. It would be interesting to see his reaction to how the Empire was defeated too, assuming he's been in Deep Space for the events of the OT and unable to know anything. Some of the cast/crew for Mando S3 have been making subtle remarks about Thrawn's involvement for this season. Don't think there's a chance he'll appear on screen before the Ahsoka series, but I could see another name drop like we got in Mando S2. I imagine by this point in the timeline Thrawn must be back and playing a part in the Imperial remnants. I'm just not sure how closely tied he'd be with the cloning efforts by the Empire. Actually I’m confident we will see Thrawn in season 3… either at the very end or the post credit tease since they been doing those now in Mando and BoBF. I think Gideon is operating under his orders and I believe Thrawn orchestrated his likely escape. I think the books sort of talk about this but I believe Palpatine interest in Thrawn had a lot to do with his knowledge of the unknown regions, Palpatine was always invested in knowledge and a guy coming from deep space and talking about other peoples/ empires would have intrigued him. |

So the Damon Lindelof movie, the one they were insisting that "this is the one!!" now has an uncertain future as well. Shocker. Guess there were more "creative differences" because word is Lindelof walked away as writer. This is actual insanity, apparently this is like the 8th movie they've scrapped? Wtf is going on over there??
People defend KK as being one of the most successful producers ever yet she can't even put out one movie. The worst part is, I think they're determined to announce a movie at Celebration slated for 2025. A movie that is not planned, doesn't even have a fixed writer, but has a hard date of 2025 they will be forced to meet. Literally the exact same situation as TFA. How have they learned nothing?

Yeah honestly I've said it before but I really don't like this project and think it's a waste of time and I hope there's no more. Just realized I'm actively hoping for literally every Star Wars series to not get anymore seasons because I just don't want to watch anymore lmao that's crazy
But yeah it's more or less the same shit every episode. These studios don't have any creativity beyond red lightsaber vs blue lightsaber, this kid has the force, and fighting stormtroopers. Also is it weird that only 1 maybe technically 2 out of 9 episodes did not have a female lead lol

Decided to watch some of the old season 1 Clone Wars today. The Dooku capture arc and the following Jedi Crash arc. I like going back to the simplicity of it all sometimes, and it’s nostalgic. I remember watching these new episodes live when I was like 10 in 2008 lol.

Decided to watch some of the old season 1 Clone Wars today. The Dooku capture arc and the following Jedi Crash arc. I like going back to the simplicity of it all sometimes, and it’s nostalgic. I remember watching these new episodes live when I was like 10 in 2008 lol. I’m not gonna lie I think I would consider the first 3 seasons my favorites. Awesome battles, worldbuilding, diverse stories, background characters getting time to shine, there were a lot of fun episodes/arcs from the first half of the show. After season 3 it kinda becomes the Ahsoka show, every arc is 4 episodes so many feel dragged out but that also means fewer unique stories. I feel like that was the point when George started getting more hands off and letting Filoni handle everything. Though idk maybe that’s not true because that’s also when the Maul stuff started and that was all George’s ideas |

Rumors about Alden coming back as Han and a recasted Leia in Filoni's Heir to the Empire movie. If those two are recast then Luke must be as well, no way they continue using CGI Luke that would be stupid.
Honestly I wish they did a recast a long time ago. However I liked the idea of the deepfakes after Mando and really wanted to see deep faked versions of the trio on screen together. I think it is too expensive to do. Wish we at least saw deepfake Han before they gave up on it.
Hamill also says he's done playing Luke. Odd because just before him saying that there was a rumor of Anakin and Luke being in the Rey movie presumably as ghosts. I guess he could be lying.

This kinda came out of nowhere. More news tomorrow I think? Just a cinematic so not a whole lot to take away I don't think. Eclipse had a cool cinematic trailer too and look what happened to that.
Honestly nothing really grabbed me so far. Open world game with underworld storyline has a lot of potential for sure, just nothing looked that exciting on a visual level. Compared to like Battlefront or Fallen Order/Survivor initial teasers, I was like immediately hooked with those.
I think this game could have like a The Outer Worlds vibe. It'd be cool if you can make your own character but I think you play as that girl whose name is Kay Vess apparently

Gameplay was shown. If I had to sum it up in one word I would say uninspired. Idk maybe I'm just too cynical or jaded now but on a visual level it all just looks so boring and generic. Many designs look like they're from the sequels which they probably actually are. Generic desert planet is not interesting, space cat companion looks lame, the main ship is just a flying rectangle. And scrappy underdog trying to hit the big leagues in the criminal world so cliche bro.
I guess we'll see. Maybe I'll end up liking it. Seamless ground to space is cool. Some of the gameplay actually reminded me of 1313. People are complaining about woman protagonist but can't say I care about that. No one would've said anything if it was a male lol. Maybe character creator would've been nice but I won't really care if the character is written well

But the dev studios under EA so far like Respawn and DICE I thought did a really good job with actual content because clearly a lot of care and passion went into the Battlefront and Jedi games but EA decisions probably were hindering them in ways |

Dave Filoni is now head of creative development at Lucasfilm, I am actually so happy for him. George Lucas apprentice is now basically the master. This makes me excited for the future and I hope it means more projects that are worth doing can stick. I also kinda hope he just says screw High Republic and starts doing Old Republic or something.
I really hope Kathleen doesn’t try to intervene much.

Anyone read the High Republic books? I want to get into them, I was at a book store and there was this super cool looking dark sider on the cover and now I want to find out about him… have a feeling he will relate to the Acolyte in some way. Hoping that show is good. Honestly it needs to be to get people interested in the High Republic era
