OK guys, I am not the "inspector", but I also am... kinda. I'll explain it as best I can later tonight, since I have to go right now. .... so you had nothing to do with the death of Embo? He voted for you, after all. We have to keep in mind that not only the scum can deal damage in this game... even if Star has a loyal role, he could still be one of the people behind the death of Embo. |

OK, so my role is the illusionist. I basically have 2 powers. The first is pickpocketing people, which I think is something several of us have; however, I am also given items by the host and can choose to keep or distribute them (some are good and some are bad I think). The second ability is to mimic other night actions, like protector or inspector at the cost of 5 health. This mimic ability was just added last night. Before, I had a role swapping power but that was switched with this (due to CBK dropping out?) Long story short, I used my mimicking ability last night to inspect someone, but it only had a 33% chance of being right according to Newan. I inspected Robo the fish dude (Obi) and he came up as scum. Now, I know we can't fully trust this since there's only a 33% chance of this being accurate, but this is still something to consider. I assume it's 33% chance since he can theoretically come up as scum, loyal, or third party, but I'm just making a guess there, IDK. Also, my role is third party but I win with the loyalists (Namialus mercs). Another thing is that I have a "mild chance of incapacitation" and my base ability uses 10 energy. I also come up as "hacker" if I'm inspected by the "real" inspector. I'm not sure why, but Newan included something in my role description about "an illusionist always having to use fake titles if discovered" (so that must explain why I come up as hacker if inspected even though I'm the illusionist). It's a really weird role and it's pretty confusing, but Newan did say he would be trying new stuff.

But I will say that I bet Embo was attacked by at least one loyalist. He had a lot of suspicion on him and I can see him being a loyal target.

But before we start going straight into voting for the fish, I think we should at least let him talk about this. However I think he'll still be our best suspect by voting time. |

So if the chance of a correct inspection is 33% and it says Kenobi is scum, doesn't that mean he is more likely to not be scum? I'm not saying he can't be scum... but the chances of him not being scum would be 66%.

Yeah I'm a third party dealer guy I basically give people items.. If I'm inspected I come up as dealer but since there was only a 33% chance of it being right I guess I came up scum

I'm not just going to rush in with voting the fish guy. 33% seems really low for it to be true and that's not even throwing in the fish's role claim. We could vote him and see what happens, since he won't be killed off, but the scum might try to finish him off (assuming he isn't really scum and is considered a threat).

Well yeah, I don't think we should try and vote Robo; 33% isn't a good chance (although it is better than anyone else at the moment...). But I would like to vote someone because isn't there a penalty for not voting?

There isn't a penalty for voting today since someone was voted yesterday however, I'd encourage it otherwise this game could last quite long with people not voting, due to the health system... If no one however is voted today there will start to be consequences for not voting tomorrow

So there's 7 of us (8 counting Embo and not CBK). Thinking 2 scum again? I'm also betting there's multiple third parties, so it could be something like 2 scum, 3-4 loyals, and 2-3 third parties. However, I'm third party and I win with the loyals, so maybe there's one that wins with the scum?

I kinda believe Obi, but his role sounds similar to mine... Like his role is part of what mine is and I don't think there'd be two "role dealers" in the game... Hmm, IDK, I do still believe there are several third parties, but his role is a little fishy (  ) since its so similar. But in theory, he's got a 66% chance of NOT being scum. OOC: I'll be inactive all of tomorrow since I'm working my final day for the summer, so I'll have to vote tonight or not at all. |

Anyone else is pretty much a shot in the dark. I feel Sugi agreed pretty easily about my role's authenticity, which was after (Mav), Robo, and Cad Bane already seemed to believe it. It could be seen as him following along on something that made me seem "loyal" even though it seemed he was a little suspicous of me earlier (thinking I had something to do with Embo's death). Then he also doesn't question Robo's claim either, which I found a little odd (I would think he'd be more wary than how he's been so far). It could just be me, but I felt like he was trying to make me seem a little scummy in hopes of getting others to join in, but dropped it once I claimed my role and others believed it. I wouldn't suggest following me on this vote just yet. Wait and see what Sugi says first. I'm trying to get some more discussion going and plus I won't be online in time tomorrow to vote, so I wanted to do something now.

I was going to vote for Nam like Star but didn't think it made much sense to vote for someone based on their reaction to a claim. Also, I felt that Star's claim was very solid when compared to Robo's. Sort of a hipshot here I know but whatever.
