The thing with the EU is that it was messy and most it was little different from fanfiction. Stories didn't make sense or contradicted each other a lot, so getting rid off it and starting all over again with only approved stories was a good decision actually. However, they should have kept some things as cannon, including some of the games like Force Unleashed (much better origin story for the Rebel alliance than Rebels provided). KOTOR is still pretty much canon though. SWTOR is recognized as canon by Disney, so they can't really refuse to recognize KOTOR either. But Palpatine clones and stuff like that are non-canon now, which is good. I agree that some EU was crap but at the same time some of it was great. You can just ignore the really rubbish ones (Palpy clones, that ewok movie thing) and focus on the good ones (TFU, KOTOR). Oh and KOTOR is non-canon it was confirmed in an interview. But like I said I don't care about what Disney says regarding the EU (especially TOR/KOTOR) because let's be honest that story line in particular was probably better than the Prequels. Also the only point I'm trying to make is just because something was mentioned in the EU doesn't mean it's any less credible and I think screaming "But it's non-canon!!!" everytime an EU story is mentioned in a discussion is just a cheap cop-out used by people who don't understand/care about the EU and only watch the movies. Well, KOTOR is kind of its own canon. It doesn't affect the official canon at all, so it could/should just be considered canon. And like I said, some EU stories should have been kept as canon... but I'm still happy they got rid of a lot of it. |

But the fact he did more than adult Boba says a lot. He did more because he had more screen time Exactly. Someone who does nothing and has extremely little screen time shouldn't be regarded as one of the best characters ever. |

I think if the Bane-Boba arc from the Clone Wars ever aired we might have gotten some of the best development out of Boba yet. Too bad that never happened  Yeah, I think that would've been the moment he "became" Boba Fett and TBH I was expecting him to kill Bane. I always expected that to happen, since at some point Bobba would become the best bounty hunter in the galaxy, a title that was held by Bane. It would be very fitting for him to literally claim by killing Bane. But still, maybe Bane died trying to help Bobba. Maybe Aurra Sing killed him and Bobba killed Aurra as revenge (since both Aurra and Bane were rumored to die in the arc). |

Liking a character and saying he's the best character is different I think more people just like him And there is reason to like him he looks cool and people might find the mystery around him interesting |

He isn't really apart of the Bounty Hunters guild with the other main hunters since well they sort of hate him |

No wonder this guy sucks at his job. He spends all his time Potato is Awesomeing and drinking on Jabba's party boat. There's one year between ESB and ROTJ. He would have done plenty of jobs during that time. The reason he was on Jabba's boat was because the producers probably wanted him there to finish him off (again, they said that was a mistake). And since Boba is the best bounty hunter in the known galaxy he obviously doesn't suck at his job otherwise someone else would be the best dontcha think? And just because Boba is a bounty hunter doesn't mean he can't have some time for himself.... There's also a possibility he was there looking for work and when he arrived on Tatooine with Han he decided to hang around for a while. Nothing wrong with that. |

Boba has a flamethrower too If that happened it would've been good actually and made him a threat. I don't see why it didn't. There was no direct proof that Stormtroopers killed Beru and Owen. It's actually more Boba. Plus, in the special editions of 1997, Boba was added in the scene with Jabba the Hutt. He wasn't there before. So GL was making it known that Boba was on Tatooine at the time. |

Well they probably would've said Boba killed his aunt and uncle but it never came up again. And strangely, no one ever talked about Luke's aunt and uncle for the rest of the series.
