Palpatine didn't kill anyone... In the OT that is Boba didn't kill anyone in the PT either. Maybe because he was a child?

Vader said "no disintegrations" to Boba because Boba was the one who disintegrated Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen

Yeah I agree with Boba just because the EU is "non canon" officially now it has become a lame excuse. TCW could have also easily been considered non canon as well tbh it has many plot lines that are way inferior to much of the EU content

IMHO, Boba was okay in TESB. Like he didn't do that much but he seemed kinda mysterious and cool. But then ROTJ happened and they proved he was really a weak-ass loser who can't do shit. TBH, I might like Boba better if he were only in TESB, even though I probably wouldn't remember his name.

TBH, I might like Boba better if he were only in TESB, even though I probably wouldn't remember his name. Actually George Lucas himself has said that was a huge error on his part. It wasn't deliberately done to prove "he was a weak ass loser" . It was just a mistake.

Yeah they didn't know his popularity. But he didn't die and he escaped and if you don't believe it just use common sense and look at how many tools he has...
Han, Boba, Vader best OT characters

Keep in mind budget and technology for Boba's death. If ROTJ had been made in the last decade, Boba's death would've been a lot better, even if they kept the cause the same. I agree, Boba's death sucked and made me lose some respect for his character, but special effects back then limited what they could do as well as how good they could make it look.

The thing with the EU is that it was messy and most it was little different from fanfiction. Stories didn't make sense or contradicted each other a lot, so getting rid off it and starting all over again with only approved stories was a good decision actually. However, they should have kept some things as cannon, including some of the games like Force Unleashed (much better origin story for the Rebel alliance than Rebels provided). KOTOR is still pretty much canon though. SWTOR is recognized as canon by Disney, so they can't really refuse to recognize KOTOR either. But Palpatine clones and stuff like that are non-canon now, which is good.

A suspenseful fight with Han on Endor would've sufficed.

Vader said "no disintegrations" to Boba because Boba was the one who disintegrated Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen Holy fucking shit Actually I think I read about that on some theory site.. but it makes total sense like it seems out of character of Stormtroopers to burn people and their homes.. Boba has a flamethrower too

TBH, what was Boba even doing on Tatooine? Like, it was a supposed to be a year after TESB. Shouldn't he have had something better to do than have sex with Jabba's dancers? Shouldn't he have been hunting bounties or something?

But Palpatine clones and stuff like that are non-canon now, which is good. I agree that some EU was crap but at the same time some of it was great. You can just ignore the really rubbish ones (Palpy clones, that ewok movie thing) and focus on the good ones (TFU, KOTOR). Oh and KOTOR is non-canon it was confirmed in an interview. But like I said I don't care about what Disney says regarding the EU (especially TOR/KOTOR) because let's be honest that story line in particular was probably better than the Prequels. Also the only point I'm trying to make is just because something was mentioned in the EU doesn't mean it's any less credible and I think screaming "But it's non-canon!!!" everytime an EU story is mentioned in a discussion is just a cheap cop-out used by people who don't understand/care about the EU and only watch the movies.

I think if the Bane-Boba arc from the Clone Wars ever aired we might have gotten some of the best development out of Boba yet. Too bad that never happened

I agree, that was supposed to be the arc where Boba become the mercenary we know. Him killing Bane would be shocking if that actually happened, but it would make sense and he'd finally feel like the Boba that ever claims him to be.

Honestly, to me Boba really feels like the Boba Fett everyone talks about in The Clone Wars. He is so bad-ass there, especially in "Bounty"
