Like WTF?? Just seems totally baffling to make something this dumb. If you want to make a show with a female protagonist why not just make Wonder Woman? Instead of some generic rip off of an already popular male character...
Marvel makes a great show with Daredevil... DC responds with "SuperGirl" lol sounds like it should be a powerpuff Girl spinoff.

Supergirl's been a character in the comics for a while and is fairly popular I think. But it still doesn't justify a TV show. I mean, at least it's not Superman (he's covered with the movies) and it's something new, but it does feel... necessary.
And yeah, the trailer wasn't that good. It looks like a romcom. I was thinking about trying it out before but after watching the trailer I don't really think I'd fit the target audience too well.

I mean, I watch Arrow and the Flash, and those have pretty similar tones to this (but it's still bearable). This looks like it takes the whole soap opera drama superhero thing a bit too far.

But lol did he say extranormal
However I won't keep up with this at least not until I catch up on Arrow/Flash.. Speaking of which why have all these shows had such long previews which basically give away the entire pilot

I mean, I watch Arrow and the Flash, and those have pretty similar tones to this (but it's still bearable). This looks like it takes the whole soap opera drama superhero thing a bit too far. I'm going to start the Flash soon I'm interested in more superhero shows after watching Daredevil. Plus the two main characters from Prison Break play Captain Cold and Heatwave. Yeah the problem is anything that's not action with this show looks dumb. The whole assistant stuff just won't work this show will be aimed at girls and probably was made to please feminists. The show seems unneeded to me. I know super girl has been around awhile now but DC has other things to work with |

The first preview for Legends of Tomorrow (which looks better than this) does the same. I don't know why they make trailers for things when they only have the pilot filmed.
