I just finished AOTC lol but instead of posting my thoughts in mos eisley films I'll just make a thread..
First off I may have missed this but why did Yoda randomly bring in the clones like were they not at all suspicious about the suspicious army created by the suspicious giraffes... Also why. To rescue the Jedi? Good job Yoda you started a war to rescue like 10 people....
Also what the fuck with Anikan and Padme like you just meet each other for the first time in like 10 years and you're in love with each other... But worse They haven't even been on a proper date yet they still decide to get married.. Right after a huge ass battle who does that tbh.. And like I said before Anikan is the original fuckboy what the fuck could Padme possibly see in him... unless he has a big...
Also I wish they ended with the shot of the GAR.. I guess the wedding was to like mirror the ANH scene with Luke and Leia I think the droids were in the ANH scene as well but still the clones scene was badass
Oh yeah and Pedo-Wan keeps calling him my young Padawan like seriously they're supposed to be bros.. Also I found the sudden zoomed in shots out of place I don't think they were in the OT.. But the lightsaber duels were very much like the OT. IMO Rebels is more traditional with its duels than TCW was. Rebels doesn't have any music during them and also has those green flashes.. Off topic but yeah
Well yeah..... Idk if I'm going to watch ROTS next i watched it a while ago actually but guess I might as well..

Oh yeah, I always kinda wondered why they had to send so many people to save Obi and Ani. I mean they lost way more people than they saved. And besides being needed for the plot, are Ani and Obi really that big of a blow to the Republic? (No one but Obi and Qui-Gon buys that Chosen One BS)

Most of AOTC is just dumb IMO. Like why did they need to spend a whole movie on all these elaborate schemes to unveil the Clone Army?

Yeah the prequels seem like they're just there to like explain and give a background to a couple things and those explanations were done kind of poorly..

Redlettermedia is pretty good. I liked his prequel reviews but the complaints for ROTS are not nearly as good as the first two the last one is more minor things rather then entire parts of the movie

Most of it is just whining about minor details or things that don't make sense because it is a movie (every movie has illogical things in its plot).

Except TPM has excessive amounts of little things that together are no longer so minor. I feel GL got better with it as the prequels went on though

I feel like the worst thing in the prequels is Hayden Christensen.

Anyone ever realize how little sense the timeline of TESB makes?

I always felt like that the timeline for the Clone Wars was too small. I'm not sure if they use the same months or days as us. But if it lasted from 22 - 19 BBY I felt like that was unrealistic if one BBY is a year in our time. The Clone Wars shoudl've at least lasted longer than just 3-4 years.

Well, they never said (in the films) how long it lasted.

The time lines are pretty fine except for TPM and AOTC being a waste of time for the most part Well like, Luke seems to be training on Dagobah for weeks or even months... And than Han and Leia concurrently evade Star Destroyers for what seems like maybe two days...

So were complaining about Star Wars? Ok
How 'bout them battles(especially TCW): Two armies and a million lasers flying back and forth...

And logically a day somewhere in the galaxy is not the same as a day somewhere else. This is proven to be the same in Star Wars as well as on Ilum in TCW they said the sun was only up like every thirty days

Luke seemed like he had been training with Yoda for quite a while. And Han and Leia seemed to be evading Vader for not much time at all.

It's science fiction galaxy but obviously has the same laws of time it seems judging by Ilum thing. I don't think that is much to complain about they where getting to the point unlike the prequels having to have a movie with young Anakin for really no reason at all. Prequels really stayed on some events to long some which where quite pointless

Actually to me it felt like Luke had a couple weeks at most of training... So I don't understand how people claim him to be so powerful (at least at that time)

But then you're saying THE PREQUELS SUCK so everything in the OT is automatically perfect.

So I don't understand how people claim him to be so powerful (at least at that time) Well Luke was probably trying to train himself between ANH and ESB I guess Yoda just showed him how to use that power properly. And Luke wasn't really powerful he got tossed around by Vader pretty easily. He did have natural ability for the force though like Anakin

He wasn't at Dagobah for months that's pretty certain. They showed what was needed and enough for people to follow along I don't understand what the point is you're trying to make. IMO Luke seemed like he was there for 4-5 days at the most I don't see anything saying otherwise

I've just never really liked ROTJ. Like the first half or so is great but the end is just so nonsensical that you can't really feel satisfied.
