Thought this was worthy of its own thread since the MCU one is kind of more movies. Anyways Potato I just watched the first episode and thought it to be really good. I don't think I really watched any other superhero shows much but they're often more made into movies anyways this episode was really good and the rest of the season looks promising. Glad it's all on Netflix though. |

Watched episodes 3 and 4. Still really good don't want to spoil anything since others will probably watch.
The reference to Iron Man and Thor in episode 4 was cool really shows that ther superheroes are really common knowledge now.

Episode 2 is still one of my favourites it just had a lot of neat stuff with the nurse and explaining about the Daredevil to her. I'm on episode 11 now. I was sick yesterday and watch a handful of episodes. Really good show. |

Just finished season 1. Last episode was by far the best but overall I didn't find a single episode to be dull. I liked the whole domino effect of how things worked out. It felt really like a classic tale of how all these under bosses got taken out then the big boss got defeated. The last episode was so epic in how Fisk almost escaped and then Daredevil came in his new costume and put him away.
Then he pretty much reveals himself to one cop and he just lets the Daredevil slide its very similar to Spider-Man.
I really thought Karren would find out the truth but guess not i think she has a suspicion though.
I wonder what the next enemy will be I don't think it will be Fisk again. |

Can't compare it with Agent Carter because haven't seen that either but I'm assuming that's like Shield so Daredevil will still probably be better.. |

I finished Episode 4. It seems like the even numbered episodes have more action in them lol. And idk this doesn't feel like it's in the MCU... the nice reference to Iron Man and the hammer was nice though.

I also just finished episode 4. Wilson Fisk's a pretty good character, and I think it's pretty admirable that they had their lead villain's debut episode feature him going out on a date.  But it made him a lot more real and interesting. |

And I like how this is in the MCU. I know a lot of people say that it doesn't feel like it totally "fits", but the MCU is an entire universe, and it can have both light hearted and gritty parts to it. I think it's awesome how Matt Murdock fighting Russians in an alley takes place in the same universe as Peter Quill having a dance-off with Ronan the Accuser.

I liked the concept how Fisk is the head guy and they have all these mini under bosses. Russians, Chinese, Japanese, etc

Yeah this feels like Arrow (which felt like batman..) so I think that's why this show will be a success.. Unless people think it's copying...

I bet I won't finish this for at least a couple more weeks. I guess that's good because then it's spaced out, but it's pretty hard to do since so many people finished the series the weekend it came out. |

That's the thing with these Netflix shows you watch them all at once then wait a very long time instead of watching them weekly like TCW or supernatural then you only wait like five months to the start of the next season. They where close to hour episodes though I think the shortest one was 53 minutes. Tbh I wasn't a really big fan of the allies really I just like Murdock/ Daredevil and Claire. |

And yeah I think it's a year with these Netflix shows like House of Cards. I started to not like Foggy after he found out. Karen kinda annoyed me she cried and got emotional a lot. I thought Karen would find out as well.
