Anyone watch this? Just started a a little over a week ago, and it's really good. I'm about halfway through the first season. I find it very suspenseful and quite intriguing. Pretty much every character so far has been interesting as well. If anyone else watches this, you can discuss it here. If you haven't watched it, I would recommend it if you enjoy horror, mystery, or suspense.  |

Idk not really a horror person.. I mean I watched Hannibal... But I stopped after season 2 lol I'm not a major horror fan either, but the Pilot got me hooked. It's got some similar elements to SPN and a main storyline carried throughout each season with a couple smaller side ones that all connect to the big picture. If you at least watch the first episode, it might change your mind. |

The intros for this show are freaking amazing. Here's the one for season 2.
Gives you idea of the tone and maturity of the show. Maybe this will interest some others here.

I'm not really a fan of horror shows in general but I might make time to watch the pilot. . Awesome!  Just keep in mind that the show is pretty mature and has a lot of sexuality woven into the plots (at least for the first 2 seasons). But if you watch Game of Thrones, it shouldn't be too bad. |

Murder House is like your typical horror story theme, but the way AHS does it makes it pretty unique, I think. And the Asylum story is just... woah O.o
Murder House was great though and so far Asylum is just as good.

Finished Asylum last week and it was amazing. Better than Murder House in my humble opinion. Dr. Thredson (Zachary Quinto) was hands-down my favorite character. He's the guy in my avatar.

Just finished Freak Show today. It was pretty good and enjoyable with the variety of characters. I'd rank the 4 seasons: Asylum Murder House Freak Show Coven None of the seasons were bad, but Asylum just had the coolest setting, characters, and plot in my humble opinion. Plus it was pretty freaky/scary at times.  Murder House was enjoyable throughout and had the classic "haunted house" theme. Freak Show was cool, although certain parts of the plot felt a little weird. It was still good though. And Coven wasn't "bad", it was just the least interesting I thought. I'm looking forward to Hotel! |

Well, there's been some more updates on Hotel, and apparently it's going to be much scarier than the past seasons, making the thrills much more classic and similar to the style of season 1. They're also stating it will be the "sexiest" season yet.  LOL, but I mean, rumors are saying it's extremely sexy and whatnot, so if it's more than Asylum, this is going to be crazy, because Asylum was very sexual. Anyway, the characters/cast sound pretty good, despite Lange not being there. And it sounds like the thrills start inside the hotel in Downtown L.A. and slowly seep out... The premiere is two months away, so I'm looking forward to see what this messed up show has to offer next. |

So apparently Hotel will tie into season 1 of AHS. Should be interesting to see how that works. Made a new poll as well (although I'm pretty much the only one here who watches this, some I'm basically talking to myself ). I'm not sure if Hotel will be the best season yet - Asylum will be difficult to top - but I do believe Hotel should be very good. I've liked all I've heard so far (minus Lange leaving), so my expectations are higher. The setting really interests me and I like the possibilities they could have with all the characters, so as long as it can reach the levels of Murder House, that'll be good, since I felt Coven and Freak Show were a step down from the first two seasons. |
