I just started watching Sherlock this past week, and I must say that it is brilliant. Cumberbatch as Sherlock and Freeman as Watson is awesome. Each episode is basically a movie (thus there only being 9 episodes) but this show definitely focuses on quality over quantity. I've already finished season 1 and loved it! I know others here watch the show too, so we can discuss the series here. I made a poll for anyone who's seen every episode to start discussion.

I'm not even sure which episode in season 1 was my favorite. I loved the ending of the first episode as well as just introducing Sherlock and Watson to one another. I found episode 2 really enjoyable and episode 3 was pretty creative and diverse, I thought, having several mysteries in one episode as well as a cliffhanger ending. And overall, all 3 episodes had excellent plots, so it's really tough to pick one that I liked the most.

I think season 2 was good. And yeah Sherkock is really good and the idea behind it, Shrlock Holmes in the 21st century, is brilliant but three episodes every two years? Bruh. Like I used to think it was okay since they were like an hour and like 20 minutes but like Top Gear episodes are only a little shorter than that and they have like at least 6 episodes each season with a new season each year... I think they should've made it a normal 42 minute episode show

The Series 2 finale is my favourite episode of the whole show, and the one with Irene Adler is my second favourite, so Season 2 wins.

Also, you can look at it as getting 3 movies in a 2 year timespan, which is REALLY good. But yeah, I see what you mean with that still being a long wait. I think they just prefer getting the whole plot over with in a single episode so that way a week or more doesn't go by and someone forgets half the stuff that's essential for the big reveal at the end. Although season 1 ends like that so never mind

I think I saw somewhere that they're doing a Christmas special for 2015 and then in January 2016 they'll be doing season 4.

The Blind Banker? If that's what you consider the worst, then I can't wait for the rest of the episodes Because I thought that episode was still really good compared to A Study in Pink and The Great Game.

Yeah, scheduling for Cumberbatch, Freeman, and anyone else has to be tough, especially since both were busy with the Hobbit the past 3 years along with any other movies they have in between seasons.

I watched the first two episodes back in August and then never got around to watching the rest. I think I'll do that soon. It looks like I have plenty of time to do that anyway.

Glad you're enjoying it Star. I first got into it when I saw Hounds of Baskerville, which I'd say is my personal favourite. Although that, like many of my favourite choices in whatever, is based upon a lot of nostalgia

Series 2 is the best one so far
"A Scandal In Belgravia" is just so well structered and "The Reichenbach Fall" is one of most intense and small screen masterpieces ever made.

My sister convinced me to watch this series a few months ago at first I didn't think I was going to like it, but I soon realized it was an amazing series. Too bad that there is a 2 year gap between every season...
