[PROLOGUE]
This story begins in a dark, empty room. There are no lights in it save a small skylight in the center. All is quiet, until a very low and subtle hum emerges out of the silence. The sound grows, expanding into a loud and foreboding drone, louder and louder until it suddenly stops. After a small pause there is blinding flash of light and a loud whooshing sound. A young boy is now sitting in one of the chairs that are spaced around the room.
"W-What happened? Where am I?" Says the boy.
"Ahh, finally! The first guest has arrived!" Says a disembodied voice.
"Who are you?" Says the boy.
"Why, I-" The voice is interrupted by another flash and whooshing sound. A man in a blue uniform is sitting next to the boy.
"W-ahhgghh! Who are you?" Says the boy.
"I am Spock. Where am I?"
"I don't know. Anyways, I'm Ash Ketchum, Pokemon trainer.
"What is 'Pokemon'?"
"Nevermind. It's not that important."
"Quiet you two!" Says the disembodied voice. "All will be explained soon when the other prison- er, guests, arrive. They will be here any second now."
There is a few moments of silence after this, and all of the sudden the room is filled with blinding light, and all the chairs are filled with various people. The room erupts into confused chaos.
"QUIET!!! All of you! I will explain." Says the disembodied voice. "I have brought you all here, to Coruscaunt, to compete in a little game I have brought together. Now, this game isn't just for fun, a few of my colleagues want you dead. All of you. So I equipped them with some of my patented 'Incogneat-O Rings', (Killer name am I right?) and they ar-" The voice is interrupted by the high voice of Youngster Joey.
"'Incogneat-O'? Pff. Definitely not as neat as my Rattata. Top. Freaking. Percentage." Says Joey.
"SHUT UP. You are MYprisoner guest!" Yells the voice. "Now, these agents have been given my rings, which turn them into a flawless copy of one of you. This is their chance to exterminate you all."
"Wait, so we are just here to get exterminated?" Says Leia. "That doesn't seem to fair..."
"That isn't entirely true, You also have a chance to survive. Every night, There is a panel on the wall that will open up, revealing a chamber. You must all decide on a tribute to put into the chamber. Looks like night is going to fall soon. I would get started with your discussion."
