OOC: I'll just use PC since my phone doesn't so well with this site. IC: Before I vote star (Who I've found suspicious of for awhile since I voted him on day 1) I want to hear his defense before I get too carried away. I don't want to make the same mistake with Boba. But he never posted a defense which I always found suspicious which is why I voted for him as well. But I don't want to rush this one. We could lose if we don't vote off a scum today. I'm guessing there is two, if there was three they would have won by now right?

Since most of you posted a suspicion list I'll just do the same.
Star/Kyronn: Suspicious but he could just be a loyal. 50/50 leaning on scum though.
Bane the Conjourur: Eh... There's not much evidence to say he's suspicious but I don't really know about him
Nic/Jenell Fury: Inspector
CBK: I'm a loyal
Legolas/Asparton: I'm gonna say loyal... but I could be fooled
Dark/Swyvar: I find him a bit suspicious due to his following tactics and inactivity.

Potato - He did some questionable things but he's probably loyal
Kenobi - Doesn't seem to be loyal or scum, probably third party
Spider - Probably loyal, but he might have some weird goal
Malgus - Same as Spider
PindaZwerver - Definitely loyal, and only fools would vote him off.
Newan - This guy is obviously scum, just look at him. He looks like scum!
Wampa - Just a foolish loyalist
Boba - Just another foolish loyalist
Namialus - Can not be trusted!

1. Why did I vote Boba? I voted Boba because I felt that he probably lied to Nic about a role. Since she even said it wasn't protector basically once or twice, I began to feel that maybe Boba had lied to her so he could take advantage of her power and be trusted. This would greatly benefit the scum. Nic is also a newer player, so he probably would've had a better chance of fooling her. Bane even admitted the same thing happened to him his first time as inspector and he had more games under his belt before that too, so that supports what I said above even more. The fact that Nic was already in contact with 4 (5?) people by day 2 and thought they were all loyal continues to prove this. I just thought that she was probably trusting some too much. Another thing as well, is that Neean played similar to how he did last game (for deny that Bane. You said it yourself). So therefore, couldn't Boba have pulled another one of those claiming a role he doesn't have things again? Just another thought I had that led to me voting him.
2. Why did I think a double vote would be better? I thought it'd be better because, honestly, I didn't trust the role claims of Boba or Wampa. I just thought Wampa might be less of a threat if he was scum compared to Boba (since he was greatly trusted by Nic) along with all my thoughts for voting Boba in the above question. I mean, Wampa claiming like that seemed like a scummy move to me, but also, let me just say that it turned out he was a loyal. I could do the same thing he did and claim my role, but I *know* that everyone would think that it would make me seem scummier so that's why I haven't bothered. But the main point of why I thought a double vote would be better is because it'd give us more information like yesterday. Wampa and Bane supported it so much yesterday, and now Bane is acting like it's the worst idea ever. Wampa on the other hand... Was voted off as a result of another one and he was loyal. Don't make the same mistake with me. I'm loyal and thought a double conviction would help more, especially when I thought both suspects were almost equally suspicious.
3. Reasons I'm loyal
A) I voted Newan early on. If I was scum, I wouldn't have done that, or at least waited a little longer.
B) Assuming Newan was the killer (as there have been no deaths lately) wouldn't that make me less wanting to vote him?
C) Not to mention that Pinda already had two votes when I voted Newan. If I was scum, I would've went with Bane and voted Pinda. Then Pinda would've had more votes. But I didn't, which would be a stupid move on my part if I was scum.
D) Newan pushed for Pinda and me a lot. If I was scum, why would he push for me that much? I understand if he brought it up once or twice, but he constantly brought up how he was suspicious of me and thought I was scum. Scum wouldn't be that stupid to be the ones to always bring up suspicions against another member, especially when there was a bigger suspect (Pinda).
E) Also, if I was scum, would I be so stupid as to do the whole "accuse the main one accusing you" thing? Cause apparently you think I'm doing that against Bane. But regardless of whether or not I am, that's be really predictable of a scum, also making me stupid.
F) Potato was killed on night 1. That was obviously an attempt to frame me and Pinda. The scum were smart enough to realize that by killing Tater, it'd make Pinda suspicous (since he was kinda against/suspicous of Tater). It'd make me suspicous too, since Tater voted me and it'd make it look like I was trying to get back at the first person to bring up suspicions against me. It's just too obvious of something for me to do as a scum. My team wouldn't jepprdize me like that, especially that early on. If I was really scum, they probably would've killed another threat like Spider, etc.
G) No one has been close to me this whole game (except maybe Pinda or Wampa *slightly*). So even if I'm voted, you won't have much of an idea of who to go for since I have no one close to me and pretty much everyone against me. Whereas if you voted someone else, at least they'd probably give you a better idea of who to go for next.

Now, if I'm fortunate enough to have no one else vote me, I think Bane is most suspicious. Here's why:
A) He barely contributed to day 1 discussion. Just tried to be laid back and stay out of anyone's suspicions list.
B) He pushed for a Pinda vote multiple times during voting on Day 3. And when Newan was racking up votes, he desperately wanted Wampa to come online ASAP and tie the votes so at least both would go.
C) Bane did pretty much what a scum would do when their ally (Newan --- and possible killer) is about to be voted. He continued to say how Pinda was a better vote and so on. And don't give me that "I never pushed for Pinda; I just found him more suspicious" nonsense. You had to think that he was somewhat loyal to not vote for him, especially as the evidence against him became better and better.
I'm telling you, Bane did almost what I said a scum would do in that scenario. Not me.
D) Pinda suspected him. And Nic and others even agreed that he was suspicious.
E) He found Boba suspicious for the same reasons I did but didn't vote him in the end. Once Nic kept telling him not to, he listened. But Nic isn't always right no matter how loyal she is. It's almost like he was afraid to go against her that day. But even if he wasn't "afraid", perhaps he made it seem like he believed her at the moment, so he could vote me (a loyal with some suspicions) when Wampa (who was most likely gonna be voted) or Boba (who may also be voted) would come up loyal, making him appear like a smart loyal and perhaps allow Nic and the rest to follow him on voting me. That just seemed odd to me.

I don't want to risk the chance that you are loyal. I'm sure The Conjourer and Jennell would want to read this though. They might have a few followup questions. You haven't been THAT suspicious for me. But after reading this you seem like you've thought this defense really well. Why would a scum thought go through this much trouble of a defense since our last convicted scum, Khyros, obviously did not make any defense. |
