Okay, I finally saw the last two episodes and my god they delivered! First Assault was worthy of a 9/10. It was great as a suspenseful battle and the big ending was done pretty well. It never played out predictably, thanks to the twist with Peter, so top job there. The finale however was 10/10. It was a proper bloodbath. Seeing everything unravel and fall apart at the seams was so epic to watch, like some adrenaline fuelled event. Xerxes' death was an incredible test of suspense and thrills. Feel pretty sorry for Eileen as well. All that hell she went through and she's gone half insane from it. Doesn't surprise me actually As for the season itself, I think you outdid yourself on this Spider. Everything converged together in climactic fashion, making it so entertaining. However I'm curious if a third season is on the cards, given the huge open endings.

Really happy the end pleased you. As for Season 3, I have the story and everything. I know how the show ends, but to be honest I don't really plan on making it. Aside from you, pretty much everyone lost whatever interest they had on the show before Season 2 started, which I was really disappointed about considering the time and thought put in to make it come out great. I honestly thought about changing the ending of Season 2 to make it seem more final but I really just didn't want to mess with it. Just in case I ever were to change my mind, I'd want to keep to the same vision I always had.

No problem I understand how disheartening it might be to have a low viewership, but I sincerely hope you feel the drive to make season 3 someday. Hopefully the others will come around and get back into this to create the demand as well.

TBH, I really want to make Season 3 at some point. The story's there, the plot twists would be unmatched. It really would be the best of anything I've done.
If I ever do it, it won't be for a while.

Never did trivia for the finale so here goes:
-The names Cora, Peter, and Trevor were, of course, a direct reference to "Tecumseh." Those are the three kids Xerxes killed then and the reason Eileen can't forgive him. This was planned from the beginning. -Xerxes and Adrian's deaths were intentionally similar, as Adrian essentially became Xerxes throughout the course of the show. -The ending scene was toned to black and white as to match the final scene from "Enemies." This would keep going every season. -Cyrus was meant to appear in this season but I decided to hold him off until later but keep mentioning his name. -This is the third time I planned a death for Marius. Originally, Adrian would kill him in "Azarel" and then he was meant to be the suicide bomber in "Face of the Beast." He got lucky twice, and I thought to keep him around, but it was really time for him to die. -Marius has been manipulating Xerxes since Season 1. -Kraydon probably has my favorite death in the entire series. -With Kraydon dead, Commander Jek takes his place. -Similarly, Tybalt is now the Emperor. -Tybalt's uncle was briefly seen in the final scene and would return in Season 3. -A four season plan had been made from nearly the beginning, with the end of Season 2 considered a good stopping point if necessary: compared to Seasons 1 and 3, Season 2 is actually pretty full-circle.
Season 3 would be on a much larger scale, focusing on the growing call to war of most of the Rhaenos. Mainly, it would be seen through the eyes of Eileen but many new characters would be introduced. Jett would not be featured heavily, if at all. In structure and tone, it would be very different from the first two seasons, going for a more to day-to-day yet realistic and gritty feel. Peter would possibly return, though the focus would be on Eileen, Tybalt, Kumara, and Cyrus.

As I alluded to a bit on the ROTR thread, I’ve been working on putting this into written form. I’ve been thinking about it for awhile, and changed a lot of it in terms of character dynamics and complexity of the story. It’s kinda looking back knowing what worked and what didn’t and being able to go off that.
I’ve finished two chapters and am aiming to have three more done by the time I go back to school.

I considered doing that for some of my stuff a while back. Having to take all the pictures and edit through them was too tedious for me and sometimes I couldn't portray aspects of my story well-enough through LEGO. But at the same time, if I made it just written, I lost some of the magic of making the series, since working with LEGO was part of the fun. Plus, I began to write too much when I resorted to solely text, and it made it feel like too much work for what the result would've been. Eventually, all my ideas ended up scattered between computer files and notes stuffed in a drawer as my time and attention went elsewhere Regardless of my struggles, it's cool you're writing yours out. Still doesn't feel that long ago when this board used to have lots of activity.

It's a great way to expand on the stories without the limitations of LEGO's. Also you don't have to bother with taking photos anymore (wich really became a chore for me after a while) The only problem i have with the written format is that it is difficult to understand your own pacing of the story and sometimes it is hard (for me personally) to explain something like an environment.

Yeah exactly. But like for me I’m starting to realize that I don’t really know how things should look beyond the stuff I did with LEGOS.

I finished the first five chapters! Whole thing has been 63 pages or 17497 words and it culminates in the very same climax as the very first episode.

The hardest part of the so far is that I keep wanting to go back and revise why I’ve written instead of moving forward in the writing.

I’m a little too obsessed with the world building I’ve done for this. I remember really enjoying this along with all the other series. Then I became too busy with school and had to focus less on them :/ Looking back though, I honestly just liked making stories, the LEGO pictures aspect was really tedious and annoying sometimes.

Yeah. I used to love coming up with stories when I was younger and the Ambush Games community made me regain my passion for that. It took me a long time to realize it, but the story I told here is actually the same story I wrote in my notebook when I was 9, just more thought out and detailed.

Legos did make things a bit easier though for me since somethings are just hard to put into words.

I’m a little too obsessed with the world building I’ve done for this. Really tho. This month, I drew a few maps, wrote up a vague world history, decided on a system of globalist government, created a unique calendar system, and even started thinking about world languages. I’m going crazy.
