That latest episode was an absolute bloodbath and its impact was just incredible. 10/10 is all I can give it. Also, called it about Jetteen! Great to see Peter step up to the plate and use his courage so appropriately and seeing Daniel kick it felt so rewarding after all this time with the odious little punk. The battle itself was one of the finest scenes in the series. It's all one futile massacre for both sides that results in simply being a learning curb for Peter. Although I kinda wished one of the Brothers survived, I think whatever message you wanted to get out worked best by making sure the Grim Reaper left no one behind Again, awesome story, more people should see this. Thanks for watching this, Mav. Yeah, I'm really proud of this episode and am glad someone saw it. To be honest, I probably won't make anymore episodes once this season is done because really, you're the only one who watches. But don't worry, the best is still to come.

Ep 8 Notes: -This episode is clearly based off Supernatral, with Peter and Jett filing in for Sam and Dean. -This is the first time the Emperor meets the main characters, and this leads into a major new plot. -Captain Macks, who is seen briefly in this episode, is the trooper who met with Adrian in "Boxed In" and brought the Rhyolitian problem to the attention of his superiors. -Eileen and Jett's affection shown in the last episode is kinda brushed off in this one, as they would be a bit embarrassed of this in front of Adrian and they're probably thinking this through a bit more. -Jett's disguise is very similar to the one Adrian wore in the first two episodes. -Jett and Peter both get new main looks in this one. -In his new look, Jett looks almost identical to Revan in the Desperate Quest. -So yeah, Adrian can't really walk anymore. It's gonna be awhile before he's back to his old self. -Originally, the fallout on Rhyolite was going to be shown, but it made the episode feel a tad too crowded.

Ep 9 Notes-The last scene was hands down one of the hardest one I've ever written. -Peter and Keera definitely had sex after this. -This is kind of it for Peter. These last two episodes were kinda just to set him up for who he'd be in Season 3, so don't expect to see him again. -Eileen remembers everything, but luckily she's not as psycho as the was at the end of Season 1. -The next episode will take place three months later. -Adrian definitely knows Jett has the hots for his (not) sister, and him giving Jett the Tecumseh gun was kinda a way to show he's fine with it. -The last three episodes all kinda make up the season (now series) finale, so get hype for that. -Jett still has the Blade of Zuan. -Hopefully, this episode gives more insight to what Jett has been doing this whole season. It also explains why he rejected Genna but to be fair I don't think he liked her anyway. -I thought about having Jett coming back to save Peter, but that was too similar to "What Lies Beneath" and it didn't make sense for Jett to go after him when he wanted to find Eileen.

Ep 10 Notes:-Another time jump. Not as big, but I wanted Adrian to lose the wheelchair and Eileen and Jett to be... closer. -Adrian doesn't really know about Eileen and Jett. -A bit of the Xerxes massacre was cut because I want to save most of the cool action for the last two episodes and it was getting kinda repetitive. -First appearance of Tybalt, only son of Montag. -That one female trooper's name is Rehka. Couldn't really fit that in but there it is. -All of Eileen's fears about the Empire are more or less confirmed. -Haven't seen Kumara in awhile, but here he is. -Episode name has multiple meanings. One is Xerxes and the beast that was mentioned, but the other I'll go over in Spoilers... So yeah, Peter is Zander's brother. This has been planned since Season 1, and its introduction was the initial reason Season 1 was expanded to 12 episodes. (The two episodes added both added a background to Zander and introduced the Finch Clan. If you'll remember, "Walking Dead" was a pretty weak episode. But its purpose was simply to introduce Khryos so he could appear in Season 2 and tell Peter the truth. And seeing as Eileen didn't kill yet, it would be a good show of her powers without going too far. (SEE: Daniel Stoneman) But other than that, Peter and Zander being brothers has had many hints throughout the series. The biggest clue was a seemingly innocent mention of a recently deceased "Chaingun Nikfort" by Genna in "Major Leagues". Considering the setting, and that Zander famously used a chaingun to ward off Stoneman attackers, it could be assumed that this was Zander she was referring to. So, Zander's last name would have to be Nikfort. Later on, Peter mentions having a brother and needing to find hims several times, and his description most definitely lines up with what we know about Zander. Another clue was Peter's relationship with Adrian, and later Jett, in which he very much acted as a "little brother." From here, we can infer that Peter's brother is older, and would be somewhat similar to Adrian and Jett (which Zander definitely was). Ironically, all these clues flew right over Adrian's head because he was trying to get ass. (Genna and then Tori) The revelation at the end is the "beast"

Ep 11 Notes:-The ending battle involving Eileen and Jett was originally filmed for the next episode, but the episode was so damn long I moved it here. -The title was from that cancelled Star Wars game. -A few Adrian kills from last season were mentioned -Tybalt mentions having an uncle. This is Montag's younger brother, who is second in line behind Tybalt. Montag's teenage niece is third-in-line. -This is the first time centuries that a Rhaenos government authorized a landing on Derion. -We didn't see Marius, but he's still hanging out there. -So this is Bane's Point, where Adrian wanted to get to in "Blood of Power" -About that twist, I'll go over it here: So yes, Adrian is finally dead. This has been planned for a while. The episode where he finishes of the Finch Clan but forget Khryos was called "Walking Dead" because that episode sealed Adrian's fate. Peter basically was set up to be the Trigger, or Dan of the show. But I wanted to take a different approach. Peter is similar to Dan, though his relationship to the main characters is more similar to Trigger. I wanted Peter's role in the story to be one that could not be seen coming. As such, he was introduced similar to characters that are killed off quickly. I wanted him to appear as a comic relief provider with a short shelf-life. As such, Tori was made to seem more important, and Peter was pushed to the back. And even once he was revealed to be more important, I set it up to seem as though Peter was exiting the show after "Masquerade". And I didn't want to drag out the revenge story too long. Therefore, I introduced the plot in one episode, then killed Adrian in the next. Adrian's death this season was probably bit predictable, so I tried to get a little more of a shock by killing him before the long-awaited final battle. Adrian didn't need more time in the plot to feel sorry; he'd done enough of that in his scenes with Eileen.
I decided pretty early on that Adrian would die, but how exactly came later. In one version, Eileen would be about to die for some reason but Adrian would take her place. In another, he'd sacrifice himself for the mission and would have a "Reichenbach Fall" goodbye. I also thought about having him slowly dying so he'd have a chance to redeem himself in the finale. But for whatever reason, this ending for his character just felt the most right. It acknowledged how much he had changed but also highlighted how unforgivable his crimes were and that he didn't deserve to walk away from this, or to emerge as some kind of hero.

Finally found some time and watched Spirits. Loved the whole detective story that unfolded (Jett makes one cool private eye ) and the humour felt more frequent (Adrian's wheelchair, LOL), which is a nice turn away from the doom and gloom of recent. Got to give it 9/10.

Saw Masquerade and I'll give it an 8. I guess I can fully enter smug mode for Jeteen happening Kinda hope there'll be some elaboration on what happened to Peter after this, but it's a good enough ending for him. What I'm getting really excited about now is how close we are to Adrian possibly discovering the truth about Eileen. I smell a 10/10 episode And I saw Face of the Beast. Liked the twist with Peter. I like those kinds of curveballs. I think the episode is more a build up for the next, so it's job is simply getting the viewer pumped for later. It works well here, so I'll give it an 8 as well. This series is starting to get back to its uber tenseness

This series is starting to get back to its uber tenseness Yeah, you called it from the beginning. And yeah, I kinda just wanted it to seem like Peter was gone/unimportant so that's why I did that. And I've intentionally kept the whole Adrian finding out thing in the back of viewers' minds so it kinda explains Eileen's motives a bit more. Episode 10 was probably the most set-uppy episode I've ever done. I tried to even it out a bit with the fighting but I did want that to go on for too long. The real point was the ending scene, but ultimately it was mainly for hype.
