So I've been getting really into Sherlock lately, but does anyone know why the seasons are so short? It seemed like good binge watching material, but when I realized there were only 9 episodes out... The episodes are like mini movies... It takes time to make them How come Disney can make awesome shows like Agents of SHIELD but make Potato Rules like Rebels? There is a group of people that makes agents of shield and a group of people that makes rebels both groups are different so chill I understand that, I was just wondering if there was a reason the episode and season lengths are so unconventional.  |

And it doesn't take two years to make six of either of those. |

And it doesn't take two years to make six of either of those. A Doctor Who episode is 40/42 minutes long and a Sherlock episode is about 90 minutes... Yes, almost twice as long and two years to make three may be a bit much but idk maybe there are other factors involved... And if you think about it a Sherlock episode is like half an actual movie which take 1 to 2 years to make and Sherlock has 3 every two years so.... |

Sounds to me like Sherlock is high quality episodes yet consequently, very few are made (at least quickly).

Wait, Newan, you need a show (or few) to watch still? Cause I've got some awesome series to reccomend for you and everyone else here. One is called The Ruthless Mercenaries. It was made by me and will help you understand my second game's story much more. Another one is Scar of the Law by Potato. It's just a great show in general. Then there's Valeyard and Underworld by Kenobi and they're hype... (and good too). And one other series is Rise of the Redemption by Ivar. Each episode can be considered a classic. The best thing about these series' is that they can all be found on the Series Board here. Several others here besides you should check out these series too. And even if they aren't legitimate TV shows, I think all of them are worthy of being watched as if they are one. |

Oh yeah I forgot to say Arrow and Hannibal are some other shows I watch I don't think Arrow is on Canadian Netflix and Hannibal isn't on Netflix period but they're both pretty good.. Hannibal is a little gross though but kinda expected since it's horror and about cannibalism... I think it's only a little worse than supernatural in that aspect

Newan you should watch Vikings. That's some historical fiction show on A&E or something, right? Yes. It is really accurate on the historical context of Vikings and how they lived. There are great characters who are really well developed. The show is very suspensful and really draws you in. I would definitely recommend it. Edit: It's on the History Channel |

So lately i have started to venture in the wonderful world of Anime.
Then i came across a little anime named Shingeki no Kyojin, better known as ATTACK ON TITAN. Since then the little bit of social life i had left has been devoured. Too bad Season 2 isn't out yet.

Games of Thrones just isn't really a show for everyone. I've watched it all and I really like it, but I can see a lot of people not enjoying it. It's just a really different show from the usual stuff.
