I enjoyed the next episode too. Honestly, I think this is the best season since Season 5. I really love how even when it's a "Monster of the Week", it never feels like filler. The Darkness always feels present and there's something that ties it to the larger story. For instance, in the one I just saw, Sam talked about what he saw in the cage and finally apologized for that whole Season 8 fiasco. And in the one with the imaginary friend, Sam talked to Sully about needing to go back to the cage and it showed how torn he was. And then the one with only the impala of course had Lucifer pretending to be John. I just like how it's all connected and nothing feels unnecessary.

Well they're doing Season 13. I don't know how to feel about that. Where did you hear that? They may have it panned but no way is it officially renewed for season 13 right now. Supernatural is currently the longest running show on the CW though. However if they got season 13 in the book already than that's a confident sign IMO that they got something decent planned out right now. I'll be pissed if Amara dies this season though, there's no way you can put another big bad that's worse than Amara in the show. Maybe they want to end on 13 because it's the unlucky supernatural number? Friday the thirteenth  |
