I saw episode 7 yesterday and I have to say Star I was NOT expecting Reik to die. It's weird. I feel sorry for him and yet I shouldn't be after what he'd done to those families. Still that was probably the best one yet EDIT: Aaaaaand I've lost sympathy for Bane and Barst after seeing episode 8 Thanks, Mav! I appreciate you're still watching this and the fact that you're putting Scar of the Law on hold until you finish this. But yes, I was hoping that would be surprising. Haha, yeah, that ending for episode 8 was basically me wanting to add some dark humor But it did have its other main purpose of giving them the official title of "The Ruthless Mercenaries". So I thought that would be pretty cool. And why not make it a grandma? They're fun to kill (jk ) Makes me feel more prepared for anymore innocent killings

You bet I'm still very mad for how much misery you put into killing those poor old ladies.

You bet I'm still very mad for how much misery you put into killing those poor old ladies. Emotion... It was emotional... No, but I isn't plan on the first grandma dying to be emotional. I killed her mainly cause I felt she was expendable compared to the others. But I killed the one in episode 8 to be emotional (sorta) and slightly funny because of how much you disliked the grandma dying in episdoe 5. At least this grandma was more important.

I wasn't surprised at all that Reik was alive. Yeah, I didn't think anyone actually would be surprised he lived. I mean, maybe him "dying" was a smaller shock, but even though I already knew he'd return in episode 9, I thought it wouldn't be a surprise to anyone that he was the hooded figure and not an orc. I mean, why would an orc do that? Maybe an elf or man, but I'm pretty sure I said it was an orc several times in that episode (along with some hints that it was actually Reik).

LOL, there should be a meme about Reik. "One does not simply get fooled by Reik's death."

Yeah, part of the reason I made it a less dramatic death was because it was actually a last minute idea. I thought it'd be cool to "kill" one of the three main characters and then bring them "back to life" an episode or two later. Reik seemed like the best option, but since I decided it at the last minute, that's why it may have been less convincing or dramatic. I actually made his "death" vaguely resemble Boromir's with the whole arrows thing. But still, even if it wasn't the best scene, it was at least different. Hopefully I'll be able to do much better with ideas like this for my next series.

Geez Louise that was a long finale! But what a finale! Epic stuff Star. Looks pretty open to another season that's for sure. TRM was a pretty cool show to watch. And it's nice to see the three jerks have a less murderous future ahead. Great effort. Makes me all the more happy to play the next Trazibar game. Right then, on to Scar of the Law

And yeah, if I wasn't continuing this story in my next game, I'd probably do a second season. I'm glad you liked it though, and appreciate you'd stuck with watching it. And you'll like what's in store for you with Scar of the Law

.......... I made some alterations to the episode 7 script and am now rewriting the ending so it's better. It's going to be at least 150 pics... I need to find a way to shorten it. That's too long, especially when most of the pics have a fair amount of text. Back when we thought anything over 150 pictures in an episode was way too long... Now it seems everything is no less than 150. Some are even beyond 300

Star If this was a movie series who would play Barst? I thought we'd settled that it was Morgan Freeman! JK Actually, I'm not really sure. I haven't given it a whole lot of thought. I don't really know too many actors anyway, so it'd be tough for me to make a good decision. But like Potato said, it's also hard to imagine a real person acting as a Lego character that I've created and portrayed all by myself. I'd just hope that the actor would do him justice, since Barst was a major character for this series and will be for my future plans. But don't we all hope that with characters going from a story like this to a film?

1 year ago today I officially announced this series. About 2 weeks from now will be the 1 year anniversary of episode 1 of The Ruthless Mercenaries. Wow, I can't believe it has been this long. Time has passed quickly.

And for some reason it wouldn't work if I uploaded it as an image, so sorry it's an attachment. But yeah, happy 1 year anniversary of The Ruthless Mercenaries! I can't believe it has been that long. And stayed tuned for other stuff I'll be doing with other series. Also, I've been thinking for the past week about releasing some type of "short" for this. And after hearing Tater say he was doing something, it made me think that maybe it would be an even better idea. I don't want to copy Tater's 1 year anniversary idea thing, so it'd probably be a Christmas special or something (that's copying Kenobi though...). I may decide not to do it, especially with still having to do the HOT stuff. But yeah, it was just a thought. Maybe it'd take place between episodes 5 and 6 of TRM (and the release would be between the long gap that occurred between those episodes nearly a year ago as well). So IDK if anyone would be too interested or not since this series isn't going to have another season or anything. But it'd be kinda like a throwback or something to make you become closer to the three main characters (Barst, Bane, and Reik), especially as more things happen to them in my HOT story and whatnot. If I did this though, I'd probably release it close to Christmas like I mentioned and possibly during while I'm still releasing the HOT pics (depending on when I start that). I'll talk more about this, HOT, and all my other stuff in AG3, so I won't ramble on any more here.

Happy one year anniversary Star! I guess it doesn't feel that long since I was really late to start... Thanks, Spider! And yeah, that plus this finished pretty late since it had about a total of 2 months of inactivity throughout the entire series. I'll definitely improve on that with other series.

I'm still not sure on that "short" idea yet though. I'm not sure if it'll be kind of pointless or not. Plus it may postpone all the HOT pics by a week or few and I'm not certain if I'd want to do that... I'll probably decide soon, mostly depending on if I can get a nice storyline I like as well as how my progress is with HOT. But the short (if I do it) would probably be around 120-220 pics.
