Matt Smith's voice will be in the first episode of Series 8 calling to Clara from Tenzalore. Actual dialogue (NOTE: i saw it in Dutch so i turned it english myself)
"I'm calling you from Trenzalore" "I don't understand" "From the past, before i changed. Everything this has to happen for me. It is happening, it won't take long now, i can feel it"

I can't really vote for a favorite series.... I can't decide. Plus I haven't seen much from 1-5 for a while. 4 was good, so was 5 and 6. The Day of the Doctor and The Time of the Doctor were also some of my favorites, even though they wouldn't technically be part of Series 7.

Series 4 was the only perfect season IMO.

Even though Rose is my favorite companion and Ten is my favorite Doctor, Season Two is probably one of the worst seasons.

I didn't really like Clara in Season 7, but I liked her better in the specials and have high hopes for her in Season 8.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but why is series 7 in two parts?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but why is series 7 in two parts? Is it because half is with Clara and half is with Rory and Amy?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but why is series 7 in two parts? That's how it was actually named. It was the same for Series 6. While it's all still the same series, they were split into two parts and had several month breaks in between parts 1 and 2. It's especially significant in Series 7 because, like you said, the first half was about Amy and Rory with the Doctor and the second half introduced Clara.

Series 5 was the true stand out for me.
Btw, don't do Series 7 in two parts. It is still the same Series including Day of The Doctor and Night of The Doctor.

They were two completely different story lines with different companions. Series 6 works as a whole even though it was split up because it was a continuing story while Series 7 was definitely split apart.

The theme of part 1 dealt with Amy and Rory and their final adventures with the Doctor and part 2 was about the Doctor actually finding out who Clara was and what made her "impossible".

Yes, but he also mourned the loss of Amy and Rory after the first part of Series 7, wich is also a connection just like Clara.

Rose tried to track him down from the end of Series 2 to the end of Series 4, but they're all still separate. Clara is a completely different story from the Pond's last adventures.

So, who do you like more in season 7: Clara or Amy? Clara. Even though she only had a few episodes so far she is one of the best New Who companions so far. Amy was the best in Series 5 and 6 ofcourse Together with Rory, can't exclude Rory.
