Robots of Sherwood... It was okay... I like how it's all connected with the promised land. I'm surprised we didn't see it and the Doctor's "girlfriend" in it though... But obviously the promised land is for robots so I don't understand how the girl from Into the Dalek went there... Also does the next ep have Zygons I think I saw them in the trailer idek the title of the next episode... We don't know it's for robots. The title of the next is "Listen." I really enjoyed today's episode. Well it seems like it I mean clock work droids wanted to go there, these robot knights were going there, we saw a pic with the weird chick and Cybermen which are like robots...

I thought it was pretty funny. Kind of felt like a filler episode, but still it was a laugh and made me respect the Doctor more when he defeated Robin Hood with a spoon To be honest i don't believe Doctor Who is a show that can have filler. But the best thing about this episode (and why i loved it) is because it is so much fun and lighter in plot then episodes since "The Name of The Doctor" (don't get me wrong though, those were great episodes, including the 50th)

And I'm afraid I don't know The Name of the Doctor, since I've only just started following this show I'll take your word for it anyway

If you just started watching with Series 8 then that's still okay since you won't have to know too much going in, but watching the first 7 series will allow you to appreciate the show a lot more.

But I do sort of agree that this episode was a filler. It sort of felt like they needed one more episode written to make it a full season and they made this one to do that. A lot of episodes on Doctor Who are like that though. But I still really liked it.

It was a good episode but it left me confused and I didn't really see the point of anything.. It was more of a filler than Sherwood... I need to watch it again although I'm not sure how much more I'll understand... Oh and on another note I forgot to say but I don't think Capaldi is going to have a catchphrase. Moff said Matt's "Geronimo" wasn't really intentional and sort of just happened because Matt liked the word. Moff also said he doesn't even really like catchphrases

But it's kind of a shame it would've been a cool recurring thing.. However it can feel a little forced at times and I know some people weren't really even fans of it

I liked Listen too. It wasn't exactly "scary" but it was really creepy at times and I liked that. I'm happy we aren't seeing Missy and Heaven in every episode as well since it would have gotten repetitive seeing that return every week until the finale.

Listen was amazing! The episode was great overall and really strong in atmosphere and spookiness, but that barn scene raised it to an amazing (War Doctor!!)
My ratings so far: 1. Deep Breath 8.5/10 2. Into The Dalek 9/10 3. Robot of Sherwood 8/10 4. Listen 9/10

I watched Listen again and I understood it a lot better (I'm slow..) and yeah of course Moff wrote it But I have to say this might be my favorite episode so far... My rankings would be: 4. Into the Dalek 3. Deep Breath 2. Robots of Sherwoord 1: Listen Also I didn't notice this before but the preview for Time Heist had the same music used for Eleven... Murray Gold seems like he's getting lazy... First they use one of Ten's themes in Time of the Doctor, then they keep reusing the same music from Deep Breath over and over, and now more reuses of variations of I am the Doctor.... But whatever... And speaking of Time Heist I'm really excited for it. It seems like it'll be a cool futuristic sci-fi-y episode similar to the Bad Wolf ones from Season 1. Honestly season 8 so far doesn't feel like Doctor Who the way previous seasons did especially the ones with Matt... Maybe Time Heist will change that.

I think music from 11's run has been playing at the end of every preview for the next episode. Even if Capaldi never gets a catchphrase, he better at least get his own theme.

So do you think the thing under the sheets was a little kid or an actual creature? When it took off the sheets it sort of looked monsterish... so I'm going to say it was a creature. BTW, that scene was really creepy.

Even if Capaldi never gets a catchphrase, he better at least get his own theme. Oh I didn't notice before And I think he does have a theme it's just kinda subtle.. It reminds me of the Age of Extinction score, Dinobot Charge. The only place I positively remember it being used was when the Doctor was hanging onto the chair thing in the restaurant from Deep Breath But yeah whatever it is, it's not too impressive.. I liked the music used when he climbs out of the window (Deep Breath) but again probably not the theme So do you think the thing under the sheets was a little kid or an actual creature? When it took off the sheets it sort of looked monsterish... so I'm going to say it was a creature. BTW, that scene was really creepy. Not sure.. I think the point of the episode was to tell you that the feeling you get that you're not alone is just fear and Clara's line about if they just told a kid playing a trick to leave or whatever she said (I don't remember....) seemed like it was hinting at it just being a kid...

But yeah it did look kind of monsterish when it took off the sheets... Idk.. But again I think they were trying to say there's nothing there so creature doesn't make a whole lot of sense

Time Heist is probably my new favorite episode now... But I have to say... That was like the easiest bank to rob ever wtf? Like there weren't even any guards or cameras by the vault But yeah anyway characters were great glad they didn't die. Hopefully we'll see them again though I doubt it.... But maybe the actors though since BBC likes to reuse them Anyway cool episode though more timey wimey with Doctor being the Architect but not as bad as rebooting the universe..... Next episode.. idk... Clara's getting tired though but like really, time travel > normal life... And come on Doktah you can just get another girl Also we only have 8/9 episodes left now... We still need to see the Pompeii thing, Gallifrey, and Missy... I thought the Master was supposed to be in this season but I don't think there's room for him... Darn I was looking forward to him maybe next one :\

It doesn't need an explanation, they can just say it was two different people who looked similar. Karen Gillan was in The Fires of Pompeii too. And the Master was just rumors... I guess he could still appear (and Missy could be a female master or something) but I don't think it will happen.
